Oh, that's called "keysounded"? That's extremely important in rhythm games, it makes the experience closer to playing real instruments. As you practice piano your hands play more and more precisely, and your ear learns to listen more and more precisely, and those two improvements are both needed to drive you forward. If a rhythm game plays a prerecorded track, it's quantizing your play and throwing away information. You'll never hear the clumsiness of your fingers and be inspired to improve.
It looks like Reborn was trying to be both beautiful and creepy, and succeeded!

i think Deemo was made to be cute and horrific at the same time, like those ancient fairy tail, he's litteraly the representation of the memory of Alice's brother who died in front of her eyes
