Well, I did heard from the rumours that treyarch planned four factions instead of two (US and Soviet). The the two additional ones is China and the other is British.
I can see it like this: US: Get Banzai charge and Granate along with hidden bunkers. Basically experience the guerilla warfare in WW2.
Soviet: Slaughter the Germans, kill them with hate. This experience the sheer hatred the Soviet Union had on the Germans.
China: You got poor equipment, poor weaponry, and literally only a mass number of Chinese soldiers helping your back. Experience the desperation of the ROC as not only they have to hold the line against the more technological power of the Japanese invasion, but also deal with the other warlords. There might be possibility that you'll switch side to the PRC or simply stay.
Brits: Balanced you get powerful allies and good equipment but you'll also be facing the advanced engineering of the German Reich. Experience the advancement of the allies in Europe from the Normandy shore, to cold weather of Bastogne to defending a group of bombers against the German fighters. Maybe get a naval mission where you hunt U-boats.
The Chinese military and civilians have made great sacrifices and contributions to the World War, but I rarely see information about the Chinese War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression on YouTube, which is very sad.
All the butthurt and salty Chinese Nationalists in the comment section make me laugh.

During the Cultural Revolution, 5 million innocent people were raped, butchered, and cannibalized by Mao's Red Guard Students. During the Great Leap Forward implemented by Mao, TENS OF MILLIONS of Chinese people died from famines! China has killed more people than the former Imperial Japanese Empire ever dreamed of. The Cultural Revolution and The Great Leap Forward easily dwarfs any atrocities by the Imperial Japanese Military like the Nanjing Massacre and Unit 731.
Which of these two countries would you side with? Japan a democracy that is a truly one of the greatest forces for good that has blessed humanity with its culture and technology or China the new Imperial Empire of the 21st century that wants to conquer all of the Pacific because Xi Jinping's regime views the Han Chinese as the superior master race among Asians and is having border clashes with India another nuclear power.
