I would be so excited if this was any other genre than gatcha, lol. This could release as a battle royale and I'd still play it, but gatcha games I can't stand

This game seems like a bunch of reused assets and redesigns.
The chie girl's metaverse outfit is the same Kill bill reference as Tomoe and the attack the shadow boss used was gold medal spike shadow Kamoshida's signature all mighty attack.
The protagonist is just a shameless rip-off of Joker and the owl is just Morgana ripping even the van form off. There is a limit on how lazy a game can be and it's a gacha game as well which means it will be very hard to play without paying for stronger personas. Also it's Chinese so goodbye personal data
P5 is awful.

Given the history of japanese phone spinoffs for the chinese market, i have my doubts this will come to the west in any capacity. I gotta say, i actually like the two metaverse outfits for the humans more than the ones from P5… with the exception of the mask. I hate masks like that and these are all bright red for no reason. But i do like the more practical and less flamboyant coat of the main character compared to what Joker wears. The codenames all fucking suck tho. Arai is a cutie, i love the hood and the personas are all pretty dope looking.
Really hope this comes to the US.

It’s a gacha game and it’ll probabaly be deemed canon. This is where they 100% bring Akechi back from the dead, cuz he makes money.

I can only pray this game is free to play friendly. I'm interested to see if the gacha(because im pretty sure its a gacha) is filled with all new characters, or old ones. Also hope its coming out in America too, since its releasing in China first from what I heard.

I'm convinced that this game will be released worldwide eventually for one reason: they dubbed the trailer in Japanese. If it was going to be a Chinese exclusive(like most people think), you'd think they'd do it in Chinese.

The only thing that annoyed me with this game is how… Similar it is to P5. And yeah no shoot sherlock, but really, the clothing of the protagonist in MEmentos, the Bird Transformation into a car, the bosses, the level design of dungeons being the exact same.
It feels like ATLUS charged some fans to grab P5 graphics, change it a little and release as a fan game because it giving me Genshin Impact vibes XD. I dunno, it's ok to have the same places in the real world, that's consistent, but the fact that the school is super similar but with a different pallet, the fact that MEmentos Castles are similar too, you know? It feels lazy and eh. I dunno, this feels just like a waste of resources that could have been put to actually make a good port of Persona 3 FES/Portable together, instead of throwing it away in this weird spin off.

Ive tried out mobile games and they either suck or just a way to monetize. Some decent ones just makes me think that i could just play a game like it on a console.
I’m not getting this game I don’t care how good the story is the new or the improved game mechanics and etc. I’m not going to play a game where I have to pay to be OP and to have fun cause base characters can only get you so far but hey if your into this kind of stuff or just have a substantial amount of money to blow by all means go ahead and play it and have fun
