i don't expect anything too special from the direct but who knows maybe we will get some surprises.
I think there will be quite a few announcements.. It is probably the last full direct before E3 so they need multiple surprises. I'm hoping for Dragon Quest XI Switch to finally get shown.

About the only prediction I can make about the Nintendo Direct is that we'll probably get some information about the new Rare Blade coming to Xenoblade Chronicles 2 via the Expansion Pass. As far as everything else is concerned, I hope we hear about ports of Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE and Xenoblade Chronicles X coming to Switch, maybe Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 being confirmed (wouldn't that be a slap on the knee), an actual release date for Hyrule Warriors: Definitive Edition, some news about the new Fire Emblem as well as the new project Monolith Soft is working on, probably hyping us up for BlazBlue Cross Tag Battle, maybe an actual release window for Project Octopath Traveler (as well as a final name), maybe a teaser for the Gen 8 Pokemon games, and I definitely hope we hear more about the other indie games we still have yet to get like Dragon: Marked for Death, Morphies Law, Shovel Knight: King of Cards and Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes. I doubt we'll hear anything about Smash Bros. or Nintendo Switch Online as I think those will be revealed at E3. Same can also be said for Metroid Prime 4. Those are just my guesses, so we'll just have to see what Nintendo reveals tomorrow.

Nintendo’s killing it, especially in Japan! I wouldn’t be surprised if the PS5 is a highbred console, maybe it will come with a “Vita tablet” similar to the Wii U, except you can take your games anywhere (like Switch) actually that sounds pretty dope, I’d probably buy that.

Extremely good news. Japanese game developers will no longer be able to ignore Switch from now on. Switch will most likely outsell PS4 this year. I do hope to see Code Vein and God Eater 3 released or ported to Switch. Two games I strongly want on Switch.

I would imagine Wolfenstein, Dark Souls, Yoshi and Smash will be the big titles shown off. A few other snippets of Kirby to push the pending release, a bit more on Mario Tennis, indi games and 3DS.
E3 will be Pikmin 4, Metroid Prime 4, Fire Emblem (mainline) and Pokémon.

I hate digital but Naruto will be one of the few games I buy digital. However, if they do make a physical later I will be mad that I wasted my money on a digital copy

Dragon Quest XI hasn’t released in the West on the switch.
It's really funky that from the many developers not even bigger ones put down the money for buying the cartridges to have their games on. We have over 400 games for Switch but it feels like we have only like 50 games on cartridges by now. ^^'
Just wondering regarding Naruto: If you buy the game from Japan: does that actually include English screen texts?

I'm sorry, I hate the Naruto games. As someone who's a bit more competitive with fighting games, those games are so terribly balanced it's almost infuriating.
