I actually do not know what Girls' Frontline is, but I am a big fan of Gunslinger Girl, an anime/manga nearly forgotten by the anime community. Today I finally finished reading the manga, and the one thing that makes me feel better after that emotionally-devastating finale is finding out that this mobile game is exposing a ton of new people to the story. I now have hope that Henrietta and Triela will not be forgotten.
I really appreciate the new artwork this crossover video gives for these characters that I care so much about. I also noticed the references to moments and plot points in this video: the first-person view of hands (referencing Henrietta in that pose in the first anime's OP), the apples falling on the steps, the steps to the hotel back entrance behind Rico, Triela's teddy bear, Henrietta's camera, Claes' gardening and fishing, Angelica guarding with her hands and legs outstretched….even the final shot of Henrietta in front of the New Turin Power Plant is a reference to the final battle at the end of the manga.
