Najd definitely to have some sought of story in KOF XV. SNK better not pull that lazy crap twice. Also wasn't Igniz killed during KOF XIV at least in the manga series? Awesome video none the less dude
I still have optimism that we may get some questions answered and epik returns in the form of brutal Boss Challenges, granted they may not be as intense and hair pulling, throwing your control across the room rage inducing difficult as their OG iterations looking at Igniz and Mizuki Rashojin I personally think Krizalid wasn’t too difficult but with how Omega Rugal was rather tamed compared to his KOF 2002 counterpart I can expect the same for the other bosses, I still wonder how Goenitz returned in Team Awakened Orochi’s ending since there was no indication his spirit was in Verse or that ending is non canon so they did simply fan service. I also really want to see Gaidel in some way or form come as a DLC or what have you I really want to see what his powers as a Hakkesshu is I imagine he rivals Goenitz in terms of power. I also agree I’d pay full price if we got Omega Rugal as full on character with content to do justice from intro dialogue with characters he has relations with Heidern, Kyo, Geese Howard, Benimaru, maybe Chizuru and an actual story and ending as a solo entry though I was expecting Mature and Vice to return since they were in KOF14 but even then Rugal could have had a solo entry but its a shame that being free though it was a love letter to us fans and awesome gameplay wise we get the bare minimum and should some surprising day when SNK announces when we least expect a character trailer to Mizuki, Igniz and Krizalid excited we will be but it might come in the same form as Omega Rugal sadly where it can be free and a Boss Challenge and I also wonder what kind of super swag new costumes they will have and I imagine that when you defeat them you unlock it while their standard free addition is the primary classic design. I still have my deepest hopes that Wolfgang Krauser returns and as a Boss Challenge maybe you can fight him in his classic Castle stage in Fatal Fury 2 and also the Real Bout FF stage outside the entry of the Castle
Grounds both that you can unlock only by defeating him as a solo fight where you beat him as a Fatal Fury character and maybe he can have a new costume you can unlock by also defeating him. Please SNK answer my call and give us more Stages too!!

I can't get into Shun'ei, I've tried, and tried… He's just not interesting to me at all. At least the other KoF characters I don't care for are interesting for the most part.

With Mizuki, I think its because her human host Bizuki has become the dominant personality after Verse' defeat
04:02 I actually think the "Heaven Gate" technique renamed as "God Press/Gigantic Pressure" by Rugal is actually a Goenitz technique. In that move they slide on a gust of wind and the name "Heaven Gate" fits better with a Goenitz technique. I guess that Rugal learned it from him when they fought and Mature learned it from Goenitz directly. The "Death Row" tecnique from Vice is a variant of the Heaven Gate too… I guess. 🤔

I’m very intrigued about Gaidel, we don't even know what he looks like or an official picture of him but we know he is an avatar of water, it would be great to have a character with water powers in KOF for the first time and of course, find out if he still rejects the idea of resurrecting Orochi and his reunion with Leona.. maybe in KOF XVI..
Team Orochi obviously was revived to make their long awaited second album. Fans have been waiting for some chart toppers from CYS
I only hope Najd, Kukri, and Dolores has an ending together when she releases. That would be an awesome team.

SNK did stated while XV was planned to be the end of Shunei Saga, they said they did change their mind and they could potentially continue it in the next entry. And really, considering there are still questions, plot lines and cliffhangers that have yet to be addressed I really hope KOF XVI will be a proper conclusion to the Saga. As well as hope they will introduce actual new villains, cause this saga lacks in any new cool bad guys, since Verse, Reverse and Otoma=Raga don't have much of any proper character. And despite being a sub-boss Antonov is not even a villain to begin with so I don't count him.

Single entry characters actually have confirmed stories given that SNK released Shingo's story a few weeks ago.
Saisyu compliments Shingo's growing improvement(and flame control, which needs a lot of work stated by both Saisyu and Shingo) and wishes that Kyo would see Shingo fight, and Shingo realizing that Kyo never saw his sparing match with Goro back in 14. When coming home, Shingo spots a letter address to him, which was his invitation to a KOF single entity tournament! Now Shingo can show Kyo much he improved!
So yeah, single entry characters have canon stories and endings.😶
