The official lyrics for “Dedicated to Moonlight” are out! Some of the words we speculated were wrong, but I’m happy to say that we got most of ‘em right.
Just that, as usual…there are words that don’t sound like they are properly pronounced e.g. “In your name we bare our hearts” still sound like “In your midst…” 😅

There's genuinely so much great storytelling and worldbuilding in this song. The way the song takes us on a journey with a protagonist and gives us enough context to know what it's about, and how it all fits into the world's overarching lore.
Really, really good stuff. And good for the Mooncat players, I'm sure you guys feel like the Ul'dah natives after In The Balance :p

I absolutely love the idea of the background vocals being that of the mothers and grandmothers of the tribes passing down these songs and dances of prayers to the new generation of Miq'ote women, it's filled with such joy and the idea of cheering on the next generation to continue the traditions of the ones prior
