🌟 DESCRIPTION🌟

Joel Miller (Troy Baker) confesses to his brother Tommy (Jeffrey Pierce) his responsibility in preventing the Fireflies attempting to find a cure for the Cordyceps fungus pandemic by saving Ellie (Ashley Johnson) from an operation that would have killed her. Four years later, Joel and Ellie have built a life in Jackson, Wyoming, though their relationship has become strained. While on patrol, Joel and Tommy rescue a stranger, Abby Anderson (Laura Bailey), from an Infected horde. They return to an outpost being used as a temporary hideout by Abby’s group, former Fireflies now part of the Washington Liberation Front (WLF), a militia group based in Seattle, Washington. The group attack Joel and Tommy; Abby seeks revenge against Joel for murdering her father, the Firefly surgeon (Derek Phillips) who was to perform the operation on Ellie. Meanwhile, Ellie and her girlfriend Dina (Shannon Woodward) leave Jackson in search of the brothers. Ellie enters the WLF camp to witness Abby beat Joel to death and swears revenge.

Tommy sets out for Seattle to hunt Abby, and Ellie and Dina follow him. After escaping a WLF ambush, Ellie reveals her immunity to Dina, who in turn reveals she is pregnant. The next day, Ellie pursues Tommy alone and encounters Jesse (Stephen Chang), Dina’s ex-boyfriend, who followed them to Seattle. While searching for Abby’s friend, Nora Harris (Chelsea Tavares), Ellie encounters the Seraphites, a religious cult locked in a battle with the WLF over control of Seattle. Ellie tracks down Nora and tortures her for information on Abby’s location, which traumatizes Ellie. The following day, she kills two more members of Abby’s group, the pregnant Mel (Ashly Burch) and her boyfriend Owen Moore (Patrick Fugit). A flashback reveals that, two years earlier, Ellie traveled to the Firefly hospital in Salt Lake City and learned the truth. Devastated, she cut ties with Joel. In the present, Ellie’s group is ambushed by Abby, who kills Jesse and holds Tommy hostage.

  2. If only the story were better this game would been one of best games of the year with so many close and beautiful details i always suprised to see them combat is so good you can feel WLFs to Zombies too gameplay is fun but the story is bad not saying terrible but a bit bad

  3. This part was a huge disappointment IMO. Everything from focusing too much on her sexuality, the way of killing the main male lead all the way to the lame ending of letting her worst enemy, who bit her finger off, go just like that…

  4. people can spin their reasoning however they want, this game is absolute garbage, no offense to GLP, its spits on everything that made the first part memorable, a big f u to the loyal fan base to cater to pacifist pussies and the woke mob. F*ck Neil Cuckman.

  5. Here's a game you can play, replace Abby's dialogue with the Terrifying Presence quotes from Fallout New Vegas. Just trust me.

  6. Oh man this game, I only played it once, visual graphics are the best I've ever scene, the gameplay is phenomenal and the music is so emotional.
I'm just still so angry at the story of this game with Joel and playing as Abbie for half the game. The trailers were a lie basically, and the ending is so hard to enjoy. I think I'll only play this game again if they'll be a 3rd game and they do right by Ellie.

  7. When I beat pt2 I felt the same emotions from pt1. The whole series is a masterpiece. Thanks for the upload…I just finished watching the pt1 video, so this is perfect timing

  8. Getting rid of bad people gives Ellie absolute grounds for her actions that Abby doesn't have. Then Ellie ruined it by becoming a psychopath BUT……. it's hard to place blame on her when she was innocent for the better part of events and had a far more traumatizing life to the point that Abby looks childish to the audience. That's what we're seeing here. The fireflies treated Joel and Ellie like shit though, Abby doesn't really have the grace to go off the wall the way Ellie did after getting treated like shit and THEN hunted.

  9. this game was a masterpiece idc what anyone says. the scene where tommy was the sniper was one of the most badass moments i ever seen in gaming, the moral that revenge does nothing but cause more damage was genius , the hate u have for abby and then u play as her and slowly start to understand her a bit , to the fight at the end where ellie had to get her runbacks with abby since she got her ass beat the first time was just golden. say what u want this game will go down as my favorite game of all time. part 1 was amazing, part 2 was just on a different level imo.

  10. When Mel says she’ll go to Santa Barbra as long as abbey doesn’t go, my first thought is “girl Owen don’t give af about you or that baby” 😂😂

  11. People don't appreciate that Abby and Joel are the same person. 90% hate Abby and love Joel, many see both sides and a small portion think Joel is evil for his past mistakes.

But both of them are only in their own reality. Joel thinks the risk of Ellies life isn't worth it. After all they're doing great all things considered at that time.

Abby thinks her father is the "only person capable" of curing this shit, and any sacrifices he deems worthy, are justified.

I think Abby is objectively worse cause she's so entrenched in her ego that she sacrifices all her friends, and somehow convinced herself that her dad was some God level scientist

  12. Oh jeez 4k update. Might watch this all over again. Thanks!

Edit: 1:47 seconds in and damn that drone sound that builds up is triggering, remembering everything that was done over it. It feels like it’s filled with numbness, anger and revenge.

  13. 1. Ellie and Abby did not even kill each other for revenge, but they realize that vengeance did nothing but push their loved ones away and get some of them killed.
    2. Ellie and Abby did some awful things, but I hope they get a clean, fresh start. Ellie goes back to Jackson and is forgiven by Dina so they live in peace with J.J. and hope that Abby and Lev found the Fireflies so they can live in peace too.
    3. I think Firefly's slogan "If you are lost in the darkness, look for the light" means to help people become better. I don't know but do love the slogan.
