Seeing you go crazy at the end is hilarious.
But, if you're wondering about the Hero's fate I recommend playing or well WATCH Dark Road. It clears up a LOT of things.
Can't wait to see your reaction to that AND the Secret Episode of KH3RM.

I look at it this way: Between DDD and KH3, KHUX WAS THE ONLY SOURCE OF "KINGDOM HEARTS" ANYTHING for YEARS.
The fans had LITERALLY NOTHING except the mobile game updates getting uploaded to YouTube when they showed up in KHUX. So, by the time KH3 came out, all the fans were already used to this part of the lore as it was the ONLY thing we had to slowly drip any story at all to us…
I guess IF KH4 divides the Fandom, it'll be dividing the New Fans (such as you would have been if KH4 had been out by the time you joined the fandom) and the Old/Lore-Heavy Fans that have been writing this story down since the beginning and are now in too deep to try to leave…

I am not a mobile game player but i enjoyed playing dark road. I missed UX when it was available but still wanted to watch to keep with the lore. Most people maynot realise that its not the first time KH isnt on a acccessible platform. BBS was originally for PSP. I missed out on BBS until it was ported to console. Same with Days (even if not whole game), recoded and even DDD. They were on DS and 3DS. So its not a surprise they are making on different types of devices. But as a KH fan i am excited for new content. As long as its a free to play game on mobile then im happy. I played it on ipad not on mobile. So it didnt feel like i was always on my phone.

Union χ is wild. While I was frustrated that they decided to tell this story through a 2D mobile game, it was really a special experience to play χ, then Unchained χ, then Union χ and watch it all unfold as it happened. Can't wait for the future.

It's a shame people keep watching this video instead of making their own character, as convenient as it is, but loosing a personal connection to these events. I still remember when this happened on my screen, to my character. It was also quite fun to dub it as it went. Think about it, because of your acting you/we were able to take down 4 of the 7 darknesses, trapping them in daeta forever.
Ye still got Dark Road to read~ Worry not, there's less daeta in it.
Union χ needs its own console game, cut down to the most important story cutscenes. or even just another cg movie like back cover which I adored. the length might be an issue, but there is lots of things that can be cut down and summarized/told in a better way.
Wanna know something a little fucked, while the union leaders ages are ~15 for Skuld and Ephemer, older for Brain and Lauriam, VENTUS IS ONLY LIKE 12 (he was found by Xehanort about 4 years before the main events of BBS which Nomura has said he was 16 for)

Some explaining on what happens at the end that doesn't go into spoilers for Dark Road:
-While not entirely confirmed, it's implied the Darkness that Ventus fights turns into Vanitas, the subtext is in Vanitas's KH3 cutscenes, particularly after the final fight with him in what he says.
-Yes the dream eaters Sora and Riku befriend in Dream Drop Distance are essentially transformed chirithy that are protecting the hearts of the Dandelions.
-The player character in Union X chooses to melt into a new heart rather than go to sleep after seeing a vision of his next life (the cutscenes with Xehanort).
– The lifeboats carrying Ventus, Lauriam (Marluxia), and Elrena (Larxene) sent them into the future, roughly a little before Birth By Sleep, but they were separated. While Lauriam and Elrena were sent to Dwarf Woodlands, Ventus was sent to the Keyblade Graveyard/Wastelands and it's implied that is where Xehanort found him.
-Brain was sent to Scala ad Caelum (the place Xehanort and Eraqus will train at and the world the final KH3 boss fight is) after Luxu borrowed his body for a time and used his hat as a waypoint so he would end up there a little ways into the future but not as much as the others.
-It's hinted at through the dialogue from the person who gives his hat back and through the cutscenes that Ephemer rebuilt Scala ad Caelum from the wreckage of Daybreak Town after surviving the end of the world in the pod and taught other keyblade wielders until his death and that they were using the book of prophecies he had to figure out when Brain would appear.
Also, not really a spoiler given how you guessed they were the same person, but Brain is connected to Eraqus.

2:41:54 🤣🤣🤣 Best part. So Luxu took over Brain's body, which is why he looks like him taking off the hood (making 2 Brains) and Brain also ended up in the future probably using last pod. His hat was used as a medium to travel to the future.

Looking back, i think it was great that they split the final parts of the story up into different patches. Cuz watching all of it in one go instead at least getting a month to digest it does something to a person lol
The greatest tragedy of Kingdom Hearts is that the best stories are all on the mobile (including DS, PSP, etc) devices.
