Alot about Dark Souls feels vintage. The majority of enemies feel like something you'd see in an old DND monster manual and things like the stone demons, the skeletons and the snake men all feel like something out of an old Ray Harryhausen stop motion movie. This just add to vibe that made me fall in love with series 🙂

The reason is simple, the music. The combination of Silent Hill 2's morning calm and the imagery creates an incredibly mesmerising and beautiful experience to both watch and listen to.
