jo Asmongold ya now that you can make such a video about DS1 and probably DS3 let's just take the hitbox of DS1 the Iron Golem and Ornstein as an example the grab and the spear stab (second Phase) with the spear have both the same dogshit hitbox if not worse than what you hate in DS2 are you now gone make a video about the big big problems in DS1?? and before some ''MrMalkraz'' and co write their replys i have played both games many times and i like both games the same but that does not change the fakt that both the Iron Golem and Ornstein catched me much more often than anything in DS2 with their attacks that can lock my in an animation with out actually hitting no matter if it is the IG grab that gets me from behind his legs or if it is Os with his spear stab that gets my from the sides after missing me. you can say that it is bad luck, missing skill or even that DS1 is bad if that is what gets you of but for me such little things dont make a game worse and neither do enemys that come in more than one place or Doors/fog gates that dont make me immortal while opening them that is just part of the game and crying the x time over it won't make it better for you mate so at the end of the day if you really hate it so much just dont look at it an it is good. or do you like the clicks (or what ever you get) for hating the game so much that you can't let it go since that would be sad you can make much better content than that.
and no im not saying that DS2 has no problems just that the named ones are not even close to be enough to say that it is an objectively bad game and that is the message if you basically say that others are not permitted to like it or that you say you hate them the second they like DS2

dark souls 2 is the worst soulsborne game, and actually just a pretty trash game. Relies on gimmiks and bullshit to kill you instead of actual challenge. a real insult to the soulsborne anthology.

I'm gonna explain why people like Dark souls 2.
Ds2 is one of those games that I think for a lot of people, capture their imagination in a different way. Its kinda like old school Runescape, where it doesn't totally cross the uncanny valley, and everything feels super liminal, which is different from dark souls 1. I think dark souls 1 is still the better game, its design was a lot better than Ds2, but Ds2 offers a slightly different experience, which would rightly angers a lot of ds1 fans if that's not what they were expecting. Similar issue happened to halo, just not to the same degree, where halo 5 was a really solid game at its core it offered a different experience that wasn't halo, so it was a 'bad' halo game. Ds2 is a great game, but it's not the best dark souls game, and it's got a very different feel and tone that's baked into the gameplay and it's code, which gives it a very different experience that is fun on its own. Also, the hit box thing wasn't that bad. Dark souls 1 also had pretty janky rolling i-frames exploited all the time for pvp. It takes retraining out of the original ds roll timing to get, but you can figure out the Ds2 jank for sure.
it seems like most of the hate with ds2 comes from skill issues like the dodging or the telegraphs

I HATE DS2 with all my being. Who in their right mind thought to make the movement the way it was. Single handedly ruined the game.
World was flat, bosses were copy-pasted, easy to predict and easy to beat, but I liked the usefulness of using thrust/strike/slash weapons against different enemies and DS2 ignited my love for PvP. Thanks to DS2 I played DS3 countless times and trying different builds over a course of 1k hours.

6:55 – Darklurker is one of my favorite bosses from Souls games.
First time I played DS I did them all 1 to 3 in a row and finished 1 month after Elden Ring had come out. The only thing that truly stood out as bad to me, about DS2, was the hp penalty which just made that one ring that reduces it a non-choice choice (the first time you play through that game and not gitten gud yet… ;'P)
My problem with this game was that after DS1, i managed to kill most of the bosses in the first attempt. The most time I took in the game was at the beginning when I had to get used to all the changes. I just felt huge frustration when playing it as nothing was memorable

I loved ds2. The level design was pretty bad, but they have explained why iron keep is so out of place. Because it was meant to be in a completely different spot. But also I think it's funny that I do have a lot of the same complaints as Asmon, yet I remember the experience pretty positively. I guess your opinion of the game is probably mostly based on how much you ended up banging your head against a wall…
Or maybe Asmon just needs to GIT GUD!
I’m also your average ds2 enjoyer, I get that it’s not a top tier souls game… but even a bad from soft game is still a good game.

Dark Souls 2's Supremacy I don't like the fact that Asmongold is literally screaming at someone's Opinion.
Reasons why DS2 is bad:
1-World Building.
2-Not good at dodging.
3-Ennemies Attack animations.
4-There's not much reskins in the game to be honest (idk what people says).
5-Royal Knights exist in the castle already they belong there they were in the lost Bastille for Vendrick's Commands. Along side syans and Those elephant Knights.
Dark Souls 2 was very fun
Asmon says DS2 is trash, but he likes WoW lol
