Got the Final Fantasy VII Remake Materia Ultimania and found out this tune was the pre-alpha test track for Sector 6 Collapsed Expressway Battles- before the team composed High Five 😍
SOURCE: Naoyuki Honzawa, translated, pg 305: "I've actually known Mitsuto Suzuki for over twenty years, starting from when I first began working as a composer. He asked me to help out on this project because I had done some arrangement work for the music for the Sword Saint job from Mobius Final Fantasy. During the development of the remake, it was used as the placeholder battle music for the collapsed expressway segment, and the request I got was to compose something in a similar vein. To me, what that meant was, 'Please write something upbeat and catchy.' ☺
