As impressive as the mod is, I feel like an Oblivion remake if it ever happens, has to have the WOW factor the original had at it's time. So it really needs an FF7R scope remake from the ground up.

I'm super excited for this since I always felt like the Oblivion world/Cyrodiil was way cooler than Skyrim. Also super curious how the voice acting, combat, and the quests I've done 300 million times are gonna feel.. I'm a hater of Skyrim vanilla combat but I'm sure it will still be really cool

I think Asmon is very wrong about seeing more of this stuff in the future. Skyblivion is not a normal mod, it is on the scale of a full elder scrolls game. This is the type of mod we see completed once in a generation. Honestly I'm not sure there is another mod in the history of gaming that can compare to this scale.
People start laughing when something is given a healthy amount of dev time, but they cry when games are released prematurely. Fukn monkes. It's a miracle if we're getting this at all

Dude I've been waiting for this for YEARS. Oblivion was a masterpiece at the time, and now that I can replay it with a 4k engine is just… glorious.

i absolutely CANNOT wait to see how they remake the shivering isles; their FAQ says they’ll be doing all DLC’s big and small, and the shivering isles was by far the best expansion imo.
