    maybe this is gonna sound weird if you're not asian, but my dad and i are the people in my family who clean the gravestones on big holidays. i think there are two ways i would go about laying out a graveyard in the sims: turf based or letting nature reclaim it. turf based means i would also do dirt terrain paint on new graves, but it would eventually get replaced with turf texture and i would probably plant rosebushes or trees and add 'in memorium' benches as the generations pass. on the other hand, i think the 'no maintenance' vibes would fit the vampire world pretty well. dirt texture on the new graves but each time i add a new sim, i add more debug landscape growth to the older graves, maybe evidence of wildlife? 🙃i like environmental storytelling

    idk why i thought of this but i think it would be cool todo a build challenge where you make a house and decorate the rooms based on important sims/pets of your legacy challenge?

    😂 I just downloaded that last night and I didn’t even realise, I needed a graveyard for my legacy world so I opened the gallery and went to 30×30 lots from creators I follow and there it was. I didn’t even realise the video on it hadn’t come out yet.

    Never underestimate the value of a graveyard. I built one for myself before I even had a single sim die. Many spaces above ground, and crypts to boot. It will come in useful over time.

    Did you know in TS3 there was a bar in the grave yard in Bridge Port from Late night run by a vampire it was pretty cool.

    I’m doing a legacy challenge and my sim was getting married and she went into labour but we had to get married fast cos i couldn’t afford another wedding and the. Rush to the hospital where I had triplets so now I have two dogs triplets a wife and no money help

    This is why the sims 5 needs to take time. We need graveyards back but with the edition of funerals something the other games never had

    in sims 2 i used to raise the ground a little and color it with dirt so it looked like it was more of a freshly buried grave (which to be honest after unaliving 8 sims to make a graveyard they kinda were fresh)

    I have a church at my graveyard and made it a wedding venue, so my simmers can get married there too

    Hear me out: What if you made a small tomb for the vampires? That way they won't show up outside, but they still have a spot.

    im more of a spooky sims player, i’ve built many sims cemeteries and something i realized is that the terrain paint in a line in front of the grave kinda looks like it’s freshly dug. irl cemeteries the grass would grow back over! I would LOVE a cemetery lot type 🖤

    I always make it a wedding venue because my graveyards will usually sit around a church so I'll throw an altar and arch in there. I also give the church and extended basement as a way of having a crypt for when I run out of room on the grounds

    if it matters, this is no longer a graveyard. It's just a cemetery now. Graveyards are literally graves in the yard of a church/temple, that kind of thing. If there's no kind of religious structure there, it's just a cemetery.

    I was on the edge of having a panic attack about to call my best friend when I see a Lilsimsie posted. Yes a graveyard build probably isn’t the best video for this situation.. but hearing Kayla’s voice literally comforted me and calmed me down. Thank you simsie! I’m going to rewatch some of your mini series when I’m in this situation again </3. (Gonna be happening for a couple days) just wanted to say I appreciate you so much ❤️❤️❤️❤️

    After you add water to the pond use terrain tools to change the shape. The pond tool just increase water level and with the terrain tool you can create whatever you like.
