A big thanks to @Ángel who suggested the build! He asked me to use the Chaos Blade and the Armor of Aurous, but he did not specify which set's pieces I had to use, so I went only with the chest piece!
I always forget how much this weapon can hurt. I found myself using the two-handed heavy attack that, thanks to the counter of the weapon, could take away half the life bar of the opponents. I was so stunned by the damage that I did not realize that most of those guys were already dead after the 1HR2 without the followup!
Resonant weapon did his dirty work excellently. Weapons buffs work much better for fast weapons, as it is much easier to strike someone with such a weapon than with a UGS, 'cause the buff doesn’t run out mid fight.
Other than that, if you combine the weapon’s phantom range with the buff’s phantom range and the running attack, I assure you, you will be able to hit people halfway around the world. And this is one of the reasons why this weapon was so popular in the good ol days of the game. Those Havel monsters SL833 running around with engraved gauntlets.. Still give me goosebumps lmao.

Usually i appreciate your content, as you play unfair weapons. With the good broken katana there is no game AT ALL. Awesome.
I hate what they did to the katanas in later games. The way you could delay the hits and space out your attacks to combo and mix up your opponent made them unique in DS2, and now they act like every other sword! DS2 has some jank but at least the moveset of all the weapons was well designed!
