If they could make this game, but encompass the entirety of One Piece from episode 1-192481958185, and remove the filler episodes so it's only like 400 episodes, then it would possibly be the greatest anime game ever made.
This game looks bad. The mouth movement, the weird lame movements when they talk to someone. The lifelessness of the world and the characters. I don't understand why anyone would waste their time with this game.
I just started the game and I'm already surprised they did Sanji after Zoro in the intro :p
sounds like it's one of those annoying games I can't stand when they purposely waste your time for the sake of it *waving goodbye dude*…. and annoy you by forcing you to view stuff from a certain angle and mess up your momentum… thanks. I am not getting it at full price for sure now.
I got a question about exploration. You can only see items only if you are using a character?. Like if you're not using Nami or Sanji or Robin you can't not see the items?. The same goes with the items Luffy can grab?
The pacing of this game look so bad. Everything takes so long…talking with NPC's. Character running hyper slow…changing characters… back tracking for padding.
It looks like a mobile game for the ps4 😂😂op being a turn based games is just a terrible idea
I love RPG games, and I wanted that game to be good. The problem with "Odyssey" is that the game is mediocre. For a game that costs $ 80, not having a playable gear 4th is ridiculous! Plus, Snakeman only has one special attack. Also, the story is meh ! I would've preferred the story to be only focused on an original arc from start to finish. Instead of going once again to Alabasta, Enies Lobby and Dressrossa, for instance. What a disappointment of a game. I don't think Odyssey is "Dog shit," but it's not good. And it's unfortunate because some parts of the game are good. Also, the game could have been a lot prettier. I might not like the game all that much , but an Odyssey part 2 could be a great idea if made the right way .
This game reminds me so much of the guardians of the galaxy game.

How spoiler heavy is the game? I'm pretty far behind (just got to Water 7 in the manga). This looks pretty great though. Should I hold off until I get much further? I saw elsewhere that characters/locations may be spoiled but the story isn't, whatever that means.
Im not completely up to date in One Piece yet. I've currently just finished the Marineford arc. Should I wait on playing this until I get caught up in the story more?
Easy combat and backtracking/padding are my top reasons for disliking a game…So its a no for me,i guess.

I think the RPG aspect ruined the game. Imagine god of war type combat with the one piece twist, that’s what we need
35 hours only?? I’m expected to drop over $100 for a game that I’ll finish in less than a week… 😒
It's such a bummer that this game has turn based combat. A more developed version of world seeker's combat would've fit it way more in my opinion. Though, I just say that because I despise turn based combat and will never play any game that has it.

For me it’s like playing a Movie of One Piece, it’s feels every chapter it’s a nice retold of old arcs but with some original moments that “marked” One Piece for the better. Nice review Globku !

As a new One Piece fan (I started the anime just under two years ago and caught up to Wano last fall), I was already interested when you said that this told a good story. But I was SOLD when you said "turn-based RPG"! Now, I just need some money…
