  1. I would recommend using a Xbox or ps2 emulator or dolphin if you want to play on controller the graphics are good and plays really well as well

  2. My favourite Spider-Man animation is the 90s show, spectacular could’ve overtaken it but unfortunately we never got past a 2nd season

  3. My personal favourite Spider-Man show was Spider-Man The New Animated Series from 2003- the animation is a little outdated but it has some awesome fight choreography as well as having a mature story

  4. My favorite Spiderman series is Spectacular Spiderman and as for My favorite movie Spiderman into the spiderverse

  5. Spectacular Spider-Man is by far the best adaptation of the CHARACTER period in audio visual media if you ask me. It captured everything good about every iteration that came before it and removed everything that felt excessive. It's by far the richest and most complex adaptation of Peter Parker as a character, his supporting cast, the balance of your typical teen life alongside these crazy criminal underworlds was handled beautifully, plus the show really hammers home that Spidey isn't the center of the story, he just walks into the story that was already unraveling as the wildcard which adds tension, but to compensate, criminals also start using tech to get on Spidey's level.

It also handled his villains the best. Green Goblin's identity being a mystery is something that was never handled with as much grace and calculation. It's genuinely extremely puzzling and once it reveals who it truly is, even if you didn't get it, you don't feel cheated because all of the hints were there and it really depends whether you connected them or not. Venom is also amazing, the issue a lot of people have when handling Venom it seems is that they don't really know how to transition from generally street level supervillains to alien confirmations and I always saw as two very good ways to do so.

One is through Fantastic Four, Spidey was always almost kind of a fifth member to them anyway and I love whenever he teams up with at least one of the members of FF, and aliens don't feel ironically enough, alienated to them at all so that's a neat way to connect them, but if you want to have a solo Spidey show, which is what the show did, it's best to do it through Jonah's astronaut son which was also handled beautifully. You never get the idea that it was solely because of the plot, even though in a way it is, but they develop Jonah and his son which makes his ultimate descent even more tragic. It's clear the show intended to do a Scorpion episode since Jonah pretty much lost his son due to Spider-Man's actions, not really, but that's how it's presented.

But the Venom itself is awesome, Eddie actually has a reasonable motive and you genuinely feel sorry for the guy but when symbiote latches onto him, his pent up rage mixes with the symbiote which warps his mind completely and you really feel the presence of Venom in that show since the two times he does appear, Spider-Man beats him through sheer desperate luck and quick thinking, never through beating him directly. That's another thing, Spider-Man is SMART AS FUCK in this show, he pretty much never straight up BEATS his opponents since they are so strong themselves but instead uses the environment and quick thinking to get to them. My two favorites are when he calculated that since Rhino's suit is impenetrable and nothing can get it, therefore nothing can get out including sweat so he tricked him into following him into a gas tunnel and since his face had to sweat for his entire body, he collapsed. The other one is in the sinister six episode where he uses Shocker's malfunctioning gauntlet on Sandman so he can't regain his form due to shock waves constantly disrupting him. That's straight up some 1000 iq tactics, I'd never think of that in million years

Also, this is the only adaptation that handled Flash Thompson well. He starts as a typical bully who's more there just to mess with Parker but it never becomes extremely mean spirited, but when Peter under the influence of symbiote turns extremely toxic, it's Flash who gives him the reality check. After the whole incident, Peter apologizes from heart to everyone including Flash and they start bonding as legitimate friends, not right away, but through some situations, they become more of pals, which I thought was awesome.

Great show, one of the best animated shows of all time if you ask me, shame it was cancelled, especially when you consider the fact that it was in the same universe as Avengers, Earth Mightiest Heroes and Wolverine and the X-Men, two also amazing Marvel shows. In Wolverine and the X-Men, it's established that Wolverine from that show is the same Wolverine from Hulk vs. duology which is very crazy to think about. That means that Josh Keaton Spider-Man is in the same universe as Steve Blum Wolverine, Lex Lang Dr Doom and Nolan North Deadpool. We could've had MAU of the same quality as DCAU
