Julius first appeared in the Disney animated short film Runaway Brain. He is the monster of mad scientist Dr. Frankenollie, who Mickey Mouse applied to work for "a mindless day's work" in order to pay for a trip to Hawaii that he and Minnie were taking. Frankenollie decides to perform an experiment which successfully switches Mickey's brain with the brain of his monster, leaving the two swapped in each other's bodies, though at the cost of Frankenollie's life. In Mickey's body, Julius finds himself infatuated with Minnie and tries to kidnap her. However, Mickey, in the body of Julius, manages to stop him and reverse the brain swap once more. Now back in his own body, Mickey manages to incarcerate Julius by trapping him in rope leaving him being pulled up and down like a yo-yo off of a skyscraper's billboard. In the end, Mickey and Minnie use Julius as transportation to get them to Hawaii by boat, comically by hanging a photo of Minnie in front of him to make him try to swim and reach the photo, unwittingly rowing the boat.

Julius has got to be the easiest super boss in the series. I ran into him without realizing, without all the status blocks, without a stronger keyblade, WITHOUT ANY BALLOON SPELLS, and I STILL managed to beat him first try! Pretty sure I didn't have glide at the time either.

I thought for Sure Julius would be in Kingdom Hearts III, but I was wrong

Imagine your playing kingdom hearts. You've beaten the main story and just finishing up the little stuff. You randomly encounter this guy and beat him with a bunch of balloons to get the Ultima weapon…..wtf
Apparently the first character Disney ever made was called Julius the Cat. I reckon this Julius was based off of that. The boss seems less obscure when you think about it.
This fight took ne 3 HOURS

I had actually never seen or heard of “Runaway Brain” so when I first encountered Julius I legit thought he was another version of Pete because he looks like him but as soon as I defeated him I searched him up and that’s when I discovered runaway brain fortunately the whole special was on YouTube so I was able to watch it
I've beat dream drop distance and never have I ever knew about this boss. Now I gotta go back and see if I can beat it

RW:this boss was no push over and he hits like a tank and i tell ya,taking him head on is a big mistake when you don't have a strategy to beat him ,the first time taking him on was no picnic ,especially what it says in the guide book too,but im just glad that the developers did put the spells Balloon,Balloonra and Balloonga .
This was the first time seeing this Julius.

Balloonra and Balloonga are the most OP commands in 3DS, and it took me years after the game released to realize this.

Everyone seems to hate Julius but I kinda like that we finally get another super duper boss that ain't a generic heartless or a original character that exists to set up the next game or saga. Just a no bullshit, cage match against a disney character not part of the main story and we haven't gotten that since ice titan in the first game and it makes me wish we got more secret disney fights in the series.
Reached lv48 and died before i could get one health bar off
