I did our girl Abby so dirty… I’m horrible at keeping the controller steady and wow, we covered so much ground this episode. From the streets to taking our trip sky high, finding out about why the Seraphites are tracking down Yara and Lev, then going into WLF territory… I think this episode shows a deeper side of Abby between her conversations with Lev and hearing her admit she has her own demons/fears she struggles with. Do y’all think she’s referring to Joel when she mentions needing to “lighten the load a bit”? I’m interested to hear y’all’s thoughts on this episode! 1:57:45 You heard the dialog twice because of your death which occurred a moment before. A death sets a respawn point in the past. The game has set the checkpoint at a time when it thought you hadn't heard the dialog yet. This is a common and innocuous bug.
Some of the best moments in this game come from Abby's portion. What's coming up next is definitely one of those moments!

SO glad you're further into Abby's portion of the game so I can now comment and say I love playing as Abby in this game. Like on replays of this game they are by far my favorite parts to play. That may have just a little bit to do with the fact that I hate dealing with the WLF and their dogs as Ellie cause I literally went full stealth playthrough so I didn't have to kill any (especially after meeting and interacting with them in Abby's playthrough).
One of the things I do love about TLOU 2 is how much effort was put into the game to have the player realize that you are killing other people and that it's not just a mindless shooting game. The characters that we play are amazingly proficient killers, seemingly without any remorse. I actually wonder what is the minimum number of people that must be killed in order to complete the game. I imagine that having to sneak through all of the different segments and trying to avoid killing anyone would be a significant challenge.
Hi, Maggie. I'm a pretty new subscriber to your channel (just found you through your last of us II content) but I've enjoyed your videos so far. You are one of the few lets players on YouTube whom I actually watch mostly from beginning to end rathe then jumping to more pivotal moments (which is saying something) but I'm not commenting about your content or you at all, really. I just watched a video by another creator whom I haven't seen post in a while and it kinda really broke my heart (she is a lets player whom I also found through Last Of Us content). She seems to really be struggling emotionally with the challenges of creating content on this platform and my heart truly broke when I heard her say that the hardest part is that she's become increasingly lonely and later that she feels completely "alone on YouTube."
I don't know her, no personal connection at all, but she – like you – seems to be a genuinely kind-hearted person and an empathetic personality and I definitly watched her video with the wish that I could do something to help. I did leave a comment (as a content creator on this platform myself) but I am not oblivious to the fact that I might not be the easiest person for her to indefy with. Our content is very different, I'm older than either of you, and I'm a man, so I thought I would reach out to you.
I'm going to leave a link to the video I'm referencing in a reply to this comment. I'm doing this in case YouTube flags it and puts it in your "held for review" comments. You are of course under no obligation to reach out to her… I just thought I would throw it out there. I am just amazed at how quickly you figured out what Lev's personal secret is. As soon as they called him Lily, I saw it click in your head. I have never seen any gamer on Youtube figure it out that fast!
Re: no one with glasses. Well, you know if becoming a prey species evolutionary principles would suggest the bespecled would die out pretty quick. Glasses are hacks in natures game.
My reflection on Abby's guilt about Joel: I think that Abby thought what she did to him would make her satisfied and the pain of loosing her father would hurt less, but you can tell when she gave the last blow to Joel it really didn't make her feel any better. I think she helped Lev and Yara to make up for the guilt she feels about not getting the satisfaction she expected for killing Joel. Plus I think she knows she did the same thing to Ellie that Joel did to her, killing their father.

Didn't you recognize the screwdriver on the right side when you use a weapon? Just when you see this, you can fix some of items like silencer, medi-kit or munition or build knives. 😉
One thing is for sure there’s still a lot to go through. Emotionally and also gameplay wise. I’m gonna say don’t rush it just take your time and enjoy. Also I recommend playing it on grounded again once you finish the game
