People are so mean lol I love steve burton. I think he really makes the character. He did an amazing job in advent children and every other ffvii event. Loved how he made himself childish in crisis core. Blame the writers for making cloud emotionless in this specific script. This is how they direct steve to be. Otherwise, when he isn't being emo, he's really good at cloud. I think square does a great job at VA casting, aside a selected few aka Aerith in advent children haha.. be nice guys, it's not always the actor themselves. I worked with anime voice actors for years. There is always a director behind it all. Cloud is suppose to be mono toned and lost in his mind. This isn't even directly related to vii so no harm no foul. I think he will do a great job in the remake. And to answer the question I keep seeing in this video, yeah he is doing the remake. shrug and y'all know for a fact you gonna play it regardless 😂

Cloud by himself sounds decent – although, Burton sounds very asleep and is missing those subtle beats he usually incorporates with Cloud. Hell, it's like he's trying to voiceact in the middle of a library. 😛 But that other voice actor guy? He needs to do something different since he's ripping off EVERYTHING Burton is doing. As a result, everything sounds sooooo monotone.
