  1. I've never heard about this style before but I absolutely love how this build came out! The yellow tones on the interior made me very happy heh beautiful job as usual! ❤️

  2. This is so visually interesting! I don’t know much about Bauhaus design either but this is a really cool space

  3. This kind of chair, it's my irl nightmare, whenever I sit on one of those I feel like it might break at any moment
I love the colors of this build tho, and the way you filled that gap at the end of the bed was so clever and well done imo

  4. Seeing a German word in an English sentence is still weird to read haha. I am a German myself. It’s kinda funny actually

  5. Omg yay! 🥰 I was one of the folks who brought up Bauhaus, I was so excited to see this in my feed! From one design nerd to another, I can confirm your build turned out gorgeous! Those chairs with the partially suspended seat are super Bauhaus, they’re called cantilever chairs 🤓

  6. This was a great build !!! As a contemporary art history student, I think you executed your research impeccably 😀 Bauhaus as a style was informed mostly by radical students in a post-war Germany that had a badly damaged economy from World War 1. There was also a mass response to the influenza epidemic of the 20s, and as a result Bauhaus designs, like other modernist designs of the 20s were focused very closely on cleanliness. Steel and concrete were preferred building materials due to them being cleaned easily. Bauhaus itself is the name of a school of design that is still active today! Many of us probably are aware of Bauhaus typography, including modernist sans-serifs like Helvetica Neue. Bauhaus as a movement is a specific reflection of modernism in Germany that was all about in-house production and mass-industrialization, and most Bauhaus products were produced in these collaborative workshops at the school where students and designers would create using their collective skills. The most popular Bauhaus design would be the B3 Club Chair designed by Marcel Breuer, also known as the Wassily Chair, and named after the painter Wassily Kandinsky, who popularized modernist painting during the Russian modernist movements at the same time. The chair actually looks quite similar to the dining chairs in this build! The use of modular furniture and lack of ornamentation throughout the build reflects Bauhaus design very well, so great job!!!! <333

  7. This style works so well with the squish. You did an excellent job!! Especially love the colors and front garden area

  8. Fun fact: my knowledge is limited, but Bauhaus is essentially the first iteration of a "modern" architecture. It went on to inspire things like mid century modern, which makes sense as why you would see the similarities. Apologies if my oversimplification offends any architecture students 😅.

  9. I love this house! I probably would have opted for more white walls instead of wood for bauhaus design, but that is just my personal preference. What a great squish!

  10. I can't wait to play with this house!!! It's not up on the gallery yet so I'll keep my eyes on your feed for when you share it!

  11. Bauhaus is so hard to do in the Sims. It always ends up 1940’s modern for me 😭 you did a nice job here!

  12. I was wondering if you would be up for a challenge? I have this family in the sims that is in desperate need of a new house but I am terrible at build so I was hoping you could build something for them? The basic theme is larger modern sulani/beach house. They currently live on the 50 by 50 lot. Of course it is up to you but it would be so cool if you did this!
As always love your channel and your builds are incredible!! Have a fantastic day and I hope you accept my little challenge-ish 😂

  13. This is one of my favorite tiny houses you've ever built!
I was thinking it would be cool to see a Christmas in Sulani build! Everyone is doing Christmas builds right now, which I'm loving, but that could be a fun twist.

  14. I am more familiar with the band Bauhaus than the architectural style, but I still love what you did here. Based on my very little knowledge of Bauhaus architecture, I think you nailed it, but ya know, take that with a grain of salt, because I don't know a lot about it. XD Still, I like this build, very creative using the rug for wall decor!

  15. As someone who is from the home city of Bauhaus I can confirm you did a really good job in the Sims! I love it! 💕

  16. Super cute build! Also would love to hear you talk about the new Sims 4 mod manager once you get a chance to play around with it 🙂

  17. Fun to see this build in your vlogmas, and then on here 😊 in this same vein of architecture style, maybe Brutalism would be fun?! 😄

  18. Ive never had allergies before but this year i have had it for the first time. at first i was like oh weird i have hayfever now but turns out i was all of a sudden allergic to my cat. And i read somewhere that getting covid can cause that!

  19. LOVED THIS DESIGN! One of My favs so far! I would maybe change the bedroom a bit bc im Really not a big fan of that bed 😅.. as well as add more plants and play a bit more with the rugs but this was such a Nice device!! Are you considering doing a maximalism inspired design soon?
