We finally get to meet Isaac and even more Abby flashbacks! I loved this episode and seeing Abby/Owen go through the aquarium together. I think after the initial hesitation and discomfort of playing as her, I honestly fell in love with her storyline too. I love getting to see different perspectives and I hope y’all enjoyed watching it too!

You were facing the wrong way when entering the cell area so you didn't see the prisoner cower and crawl to the other side of the cell upon seeing Abby
12:40 Lmao that was incredibly entertaining, had me in suspense the whole time 😂
WHY!!! Stupid question but why do you pause BEFORE the cinematic? Not a big problem if you are playing through and breaking down your gameplay to upload but if you are stopping and loading the game the cinematic ends up being skipped.
Oh, and not sure you picked this up since you said you thought the woman was the Prophet but… Martyr's Gate is named because Isaac executed her. The Seraphites consider the Prophet a Martyr after she died. Isaac made her larger and more powerful in death than she was in life.
At 1:21 you didn’t drop through the floor and find the shotgun. 😳
I've played through this game twice and never clicked how Abbie's flashbacks and Ellie's flashbacks run in a similar vein. The 2 locations even have a wall of supporters in each.
1:22:01 so painful to watch ya miss the shotgun. you looked at the hole in the floor but you didn't go down. 🙁
Woohoo been waiting all day watch this..:):)
Missing another Easter egg and shotgun part 🤔
I enjoyed playing as Abby.
My favorite youtuber posted ❤
You loot really well alot of play throughs I watch people miss so much and it literally drives me insane to watch 😉
Owen is one of my favorites, he was the one that stepped in to save Tommy and Ellie… But who do I Like best Ellie or Abby??? I like them both in different ways and dislike them in different ways too.
The game just gets better and better the further you go
Why did I laugh so hard at 7:02
33:28 I don’t remember this drawing being so terrifying😭
I love that scene at the aquarium and your analysis of it!! Abby couldn't let Joel go, even in her happiest moments. I think Ellie writes a similar sentiment in her journal, about how she had such a good day with Dina that she almost didn't think about Abby at all, until the memory hit her all over again 🙁
Did you read Manny's note while editing? 😏
Made me laugh when Manny blocked your path (happened to me too).
And your struggle with the easiest safe combo in the whole game to remember 😌 689 689. Guess it was because you read it as 68 96 89.
There are no shiv doors in part 2 btw 🫤
And the scar prophet is dead, as Abby said Isaac made her a martyr.
For me Abby & Ellie are brilliantly balanced. I played mostly stealthy as Ellie and Abby felt more powerful so I still stealthed but used brute force more often.
And I like the fact that you can mostly play full stealth, brute force or running away with both characters. I love playing as both.
Laura Bailey… Amazing VA also her facial capture when Abby's quiet or just listening like in the lift when she was listening to Manny and Isaac.
And it still blows my mind that she voiced Nadine in uncharted 🤯
Marinas are places to moor boats.
Whitney is playing Hotline Miami on the PS Vita. Not a Naughty Dog game but a great throwback.
The person at the end isn't the prophet as Abby mentioned before you picked up the holster that Isaac turned a crazy person into a martyr.
Aww you’re such a wonderful sister please , he will be so happy 😉
1:25:07 I'm honestly shocked you didn't read the code as 689 689. Easy to remember broke up into 3 digits lol
I like the differences in both characters gameplay but the wave of nostalgia I felt as Abby where I could brute force my way through encounters reminded me so much of Joel. Simply put I loved Abby's gameplay.
Imagine how everyone smells
5:30 This is the FOB (Forward Operating Base). They mentioned Isaac was calling them to the FOB when they left the stadium.
17:20 "After our morning, I wouldn't mind a few minutes with these guys." To me this says a lot about who Abby is. She enjoys revenge and torture.
I just wanna say briefly that gamers like you make me appreciate the nuances of this story and characters so much with your thoughtful commentary. Appreciate you.
I liked playing as Abby more. Cooler weapons, more interesting storyline, and I love her character design a lot more.
Geez..I would ask you to date because of that smile )))
Uu missed a whole shop
1:22:06 missed another easter egg and then missed an entire room below where you get a shotgun.
I'm definitely in the minority of being an Abby fan, I saw the leaks two months ahead of release of the Joel in One video and the details of the surgeon being Abby's father. I like every character in TLOU except for David and his cannibal crew.
Thanks for another great video and play through. Loved how you got stuck in the morgue when Manny wouldn't move. I also laughed when you had trouble with the safe and didn't recognize the 689 689 pattern. Based upon your mad headshot skills, I restarted a new+ game on TLOU Part 1 and am trying to improve my headshot skills.
Glad your still continuing the last of us 2 getting to hear Abby’s Side of the story these ones are just as good as Ellie’s so you should be in for a treat .Maggie love 💕 your cap 🧢 your comments are really interesting it’s always nice to see someone else enjoying the game and your thoughts on the game can’t wait too see more soon thank you have a great week see you soon Maggie take care bye ❤
Are you planning on doing reactions to "The Last of Us" tv series coming up? As a fan of the games and your play through I'd certainly watch
Congrats on the new PC! 4080 really is a powerhouse, I'm thrilled for you!
Ellie definitely gets better weapons.
You're incredibly observant, like you even noticed the painting by the ladder as you went down. It's been an absolute delight to hear your insightful commentary this whole episode, some great critical thinking on your part.
Again, it's impressive how open-minded you are about this already. For most players that do come around, it takes them even longer to warm up to Abby or for them to give her perspective and the storytelling a fair chance, but it's nice to see you talk about the intricacies of her character as well as the storytelling as you go along.
I'm glad you are, because you're in for an absolute treat and I'm sure you'll come to love everything the game has in store for you, and I already can't wait for the next episode!
They definitely made Abby the more likable playable character in this game, I never liked Joel or Ellie and I definitely don’t like Dina😬
Abby has a much more rooted and fulfilling arc in this game. She is actually Joel in female form, I mean comparing the two characters they are basically the same character
I love this game so much!
What you expressed at the very end was EXACTLY how this game hit me too. "It feels like no other game I've ever played." It really gets to a point that it doesn't feel like a game. It feels like you've been dropped into the lives of people in a real world. And because of its length and structure, it doesn't feel like TV or film either. The best comparison I've come up with is a good novel. It's the only somewhat similar experience.
Also, I really like the hat look. You rock it well. Oh and fun fact, I was just in Seattle for work for the first time a couple of weeks ago and made it a point to visit some locations in this game including the ferris wheel, the aquarium, and the theater. The aquarium does have a somewhat similar dome glass observation room as in this game (where Abby and Owen kiss), but it's much smaller and with much smaller windows ha. Other than that and how it looks from the outside, the real aquarium is pretty different.
Abby says that Seraphite can “rot” and we’re supposed to pretend she’s not a monster in this world? She’s just like Joel and Ellie, nobody’s actions of hate are justifiable but the difference is… our feelings towards Joel and Ellie were earned. They tried to force us to see Abby’s perspective. Not a bad character but bad story telling and structure.
