This actually technically isn’t the games ending. It’s only the end of chapter 1. There’s still chapter 2 and 3 you can play.
Let me explain: Hideo Kojima never finished mgsv because of problems he was facing with Konami. Therefore most of chapter 2 are just harder versions of chapter 1 with a few new mission. Then chapter 3 is an unfinished cutscene I think that shows who the blonde kid is (Eli).
There is still some information in the game that you will miss if you don’t play chapter 2 and 3. I’m afraid to tell you what happens because of spoilers though. There’s 3 critical things that I think of are importance if you continue the series in chronological order.
So if your confused with the ending of chapter 1 just know that your not alone. The ending of chapter 1 and the rest of the game was pretty rushed.

I can't believed you nailed Sahelanthropus on your 2nd try! And you did it without shooting the floating boy! I cringed when I saw you die from your own airstrike but you certainly made up for it with your 2nd attempt! As Miller would say: Amazing, mission complete. That right there is why you're the best boss. The one and only!
Nice job getting through the first and second gates through a ladder, though the sandstorm aided you because there are two snipers at the gate you completely bypassed because of the sandstorm. A tip for you while sneaking is to ignore enemies behind you once you have advanced. Only worry about enemies between you and your objective. You can 100% stealth your way forward without disturbing or firing a weapon at the enemy. Only focus on where your objective is and what enemies standing in the way. Ignore other enemies behind you. But if you want to explore the whole mission area, then you have to take out most of the enemies. Study enemy line of sight and how they respond to sounds. You cannot take out cameras with the pistol because they only shoot tranquilizer darts. Take out cameras with suppressed auto rifles. If you want to sneak around use a complete stealthy load out. If you want to go guns blazing, then equip loud weapons. Use Auto rifle, Sniper rifle and suppressed pistol for stealthy approach. Rocket launcher and grenade launcher are for Guns blazing approach
Well Rin, you have just reached the heavy part of the game, many people leave the game here thinking that everything is over and the rest is just for filling, if you did not notice it yet better to say it at once, the rest of the game is a bit repetitive, you are going to do the same missions that you have already carried out but with a higher difficulty, not all of them, but several, don't let this discourage you, I assure you that there is a lot of new content left in the game, many answers to questions that still persist. Another detail is that a lot of important information that ties up loose ends is still left, but it is not in cinematics, it will be in the audios that you get, I would recommend listening to them at some point (you can put them in the background to continue doing missions while you listen to them), They go into details about what happens behind the scenes, and there are some that, without spoiling you, talk about the fate of characters that do not appear directly on the screen and that they will not appear / be mentioned in the following games.

Wow pretty impressive on the final boss Rin 😳 or should I call you…RINS SISTER! Lol jk. Did you figure out who the "snake" your playing is?
You stealthed that better than I would! I use a much different tactic when I do that mission. I was hoping you'd remember the stairs though, earlier in the mission you looked at 'em through your binocs and said 'oh, stairs!' Got over there, promptly forgot about 'em, lol! Don't feel bad though, my first time in I kept running and fell down the hole.
Tips/Answers for today!
1) The 'stun' rocket launcher shoots fultons. It's mostly useless and not worth investing in.
2) You still have to develop the child fulton, fighting eli just makes it appear in the menus.
3) The only reason you got a 'D' was because of the really long cutscene. Time is a huge factor in your score. I'm willing to bet if you skipped it all you would of gotten an A or a B.
4) To select equipment for the D-Walker (or any buddy) you have to customize it in the customize menu. The different 'settings' let you set up multiple loadouts.
5) Next time on the Saha fight, don't crawl, just run. Your main targets are the white bits. Also, bombardments are bad. It'll probably move away first (or you stand in it and die, lol)
6) You can totally shoot all those little things saha shoots at you. It's pretty easy if you have an SMG or an Assault Rifle.
7) So basically with the whole reflex thing, the little boy drops down in front of him and you are supposed to shoot the boy with a non-explosive weapon. That stuns saha so you can get a free shot in. Otherwise it charges the rail gun and tries to shoot it at you. Great workaround using rocks and such!
8) You really only need the battle suit for things like the skull fight at the airport, or sahalanthropus. Anything where stealth won't help you.
9) Start listening to gold colored intel tapes. You will have to listen/skip them to progress soonish. Also if the next non-hard mode mission isn't unlocked, you might just have to do some side ops to unlock it (usually 3 side ops is enough and I believe going back and doing optional objectives in regular missions counts as well)
10) Anything mission labeled EXTREME, SUBSISTENCE or STEALTH is an optional hard-mode mission. Extreme is just harder, Subsistence means you start with nothing but a handful of fultons and basic olive drab camo. Stealth means you automatically fail if you are seen. All of them also have no reflex mode.

What a great episode! Way to go, even though yes it was rough at times haha you did really well. And can I say a 2 hour episode, love that! Though I figure it was probably because you will be adding GOW to the rotation next week lol. Oh and by the way, those slow motion scenes that confused you during that epic battle….you missed it because had you looked up towards SAHELANTHROPUS you would've seen an opportunity to shoot the floating boy. Pretty sure thats what those slow motion scenes were trying to do but you were ducked down (rightfully so lol) Great job overall though. This series is A+++. Also would also watch a full episode of you trying to say SAHELANTHROPUS 🤣

You did a great job for a first attempt now that you know that there is a chapter 2 this isn't a spoiler it's just a heads up with the triangle button when it comes to listening to cassette tapes just make sure you listen to all of the ones that are in yellow / gold the other ones are totally up to you
