Dating and time travel? The two latest kit build buy items for sims 4 may hold clues for future gameplay and dlc. These are wacky predictions for sims 4 in 2023- and I’d love to know your wishlist.

A romance pack of some kind is very viable. We're in December now, so Valentine's is only 2 months away.
I fully expect a sort of time travel pack but my big issue with it will likely still be there from Sims 3- it isn't really time travel. It was travel to a future world, nothing more. I absolutely don't expect this but futuristic or retro versions of the current worlds would be more appropriate. Have a great weekend Erin. 🙂
The time travel I can see. For love and romance, I'd guess that's MWS and exploring preferences has come as the BG update and HSY. The romance hints you pointed out lean more toward travel for me.
For more clues look into the trailer for the packs that game out. When James Turner YT did a pack ranking video, I saw two npcs for Journey to Batuu in the Get Famous trailer. As for Journey, it could also mean the band Journey or a refresh to JTB. But please this is speculation, no one gets mad at me.
As for a Romance kit, please they ruined MWS, and I don't want them to touch anything. for now.
I think a romance pack would work kind of nice. I rather have some historical time travle then travle to the future.
Traveling by plane, yes! Considering the kit too, with airport clothing? I would love something with band! Currently playing a couple I wish could be a duo, but they’re just singing karaoke right now🙈

I'm a huge fan of time travel, so a time travel pack would be awesome. Maybe this time we could choose to go either to the future or the past? We already have a variety of Victorian style clothes in the game, so traveling back to the Victorian era would be fun, along with the option to travel to a high-tech future (maybe let's skip the 'utopian/dystopian' thing and just have a nice utopian future to go to).
I tend to disable Future pack in TS3 unless I'm absolutely playing that pack. It doesn't really make sense with most of my gameplay.
That said, building robots is one of my favorite things.
Kind of sounds like a honeymoon-related pack? fall in love, go on a trip… we have wedding stories and young romances, the update infants coming up… just oh dear God please don't let it be another beach world…
it definitely sounds maybe more like a vacation destination vs a traditional world. ohh the speculation!

Time travel pack. That would be nice. And I'm better now. I was down in the dumps because I lost a couple of family members. They passed away over the holidays. But I do like the idea of the time travel pack. That's if the game will play right. I'm still having problems. But anyways I'm okay and have a good day 😊👍
I would LOVE a time travel DLC. It was so fun in TS3. I would also love destination travel options.
I agree, I don't think we will get a full-on Generations pack because that concept is too broad, and we know how they like to separate things into different packs that easily could've came in one haha. The time travel thing would be cool as an EP. It'd even be cool to introduce hotels into the game that way👀 So you'd have places to stay when you travel forward or back in time, and they can introduce vintage and futuristic furniture with it. I highly doubt they'll actually do that because it'd probably too detailed, but it's nice to dream😄
I think we may see time travel as the last pack again. 🤔 I really have no evidence for this. But it felt like sims 3's time pack hinted at sims 4 and in a way that capped the series. And that cap just feels right.
In other words I think IF time travel comes it will be the last pack.
Would love to see a hobbies pack. An 'Into The Future' type pack would be great too. A new world that can only be accessed through a worm-hole generator would be a lot of fun and yes, I also think we could very likely see a bands pack next year too. I'm good with that, the musicians need their careers/skill paths expanded.
Well… we know infants are coming, I suspect if we're going to get more family game play, it will be then. Bands are basically it for me, everything else is gravy and I have no expectations, which hopefully means, as with werewolves, I will be pleasantly surprised.
I've said it before, and I'll say it again: I hope they don't do a "time travel" pack. I hated what they did for TS3 (and never bought it, especially after seeing Let's Plays). I don't want to see my Sim (or other Sims) from the future or the past. Definitely not my thing!
I think it would be lovely to have a "romance" pack. If we could improve romantic relationships, I know that there would be a lot of very happy Simmers. To my mind, it would pair wonderfully with a hotel/resort package. (And I agree with the people I've seen who have said that Island Living should not be considered a good one for hotels, since that would commercialize the conservation and cultural message that IL tried to have.) While I wouldn't like it to take place on a boat, I'm thinking about how "Love Boat" was a combination of "resort" and "romance". (The old Love Boat show, not the new reality show they're calling Love Boat. I'm not a fan of reality shows!) It would also be nice as a "honeymoon" idea. I've wanted to take my Sims on honeymoons, but there isn't much outside of consummation to do in most of the romantic travel places. (I like Outdoor Retreat and Jungle Adventure, and even Snowy Escape, but they don't feel "romantic" to me. Tortosa feels "romantic" but there isn't much to do.)
I do believe that we'll have some sort of bands pack and family activity pack, but those are separate from the "hints" that you (and others) have found in the recent item descriptions. With the advent of infants in the game, I think they'd have to do a family activity pack. And bands are just so durn popular!
I missed the time the object description is actually like an ad from the catalogue parodying consumerism and having some wit, not some random shoehorned hints.
Good find though. But from the sounds of them I'm not looking forward to these EP ideas. Romance pack could have been in a lot of DLCs before us and time travel sounds interesting but seeing how Sims 4 goes they will find a way to muck it up lol.
A pack like S3 Into the future would be my dream pack! 😄😄
Plus adding a feature like the way sims are behaving influence the future. Adding simbots and customizable parts to it.
I really loved the way Sims 3 Into the future generated descendants of present day sims 😄 made me feel like I missed a really big part of my sims life.
Plus not to be too demanding, it would be great an option to visit the past like, seeing sims living in caves and using no technology or electricity. It would make a great challenge to make sims survive living like cavemen 😅😝
