Nintendo has recently shown they’re open to porting over content from their mobile games to the Switch this year with the new Mario Kart 8 DLC. This could be the case for Animal Crossing Pocket Camp too, bringing items from this game to New Horizons. Let’s take a look how this could happen!

I would love this! I dream of my villagers interacting with camp items in New Horizons. Of being able to collect fortune cookies(even if they didn't contain items). But I would settle for regular items (still want the Rocco set). But not holding my breath.
According to my uncle who works at Nintendo we are supposed to get one more update to new horizons suppose to be schedule on March 20, 2023 it’s just to finalize everything and make sure the game is completely smooth no glitches nothing at all goes wrong it’s just basically to fix up the game to be the final update of all
Sorry if this comment of mine really is really brash and all , but honestly though it would be about time , that they did ported absolutely everything from PC to NH.
Cuz that way they would make us all to be really really happy.
But sadly they won’t be doing that.
But I bet that they are in the works to making a newer AC Game.
Ps. I really do hope that they will do a lot more updates for the newest AC Game.

That game definitely is missing out on a whole lot of updates.

If they added more Pocket Camp items into New Horizons, do you think it would be available for everyone or only those who have played Pocket Camp?
I was just talking about this last night! I went back to pocket camp a couple months ago. The combination would make New Horizons so much better. A fashion or furniture DLC would be awesome!

it still kills me how good the braids look in pocket camp and how bad they look in new horizons. we could have had so much nice stuff ported over from pocket camp and i'm big mad that we don't.

I wish New Horizons had the interactivity in it's items that Pocket Camp does. PC was my first AC, and so when I finally got NH I was shocked that, for example, my villagers couldn't ride the fairground rides.

People have been clamoring for more Pocket Camp items since day 1. Sadly, it's unlikely to happen.

Pocket camp has so many cool items that you don’t get to enjoy in ACNH. 🥲
They need to bring all of the stuff from pocket camp to new horizon so we have more items to customize our islands and characters
Pocket Camp drives me absolutely nuts. They want real world money for in game currency for special events and it doesn’t cancel out getting duplicates. There was that whole contest scandal back a few years ago. And like why does it get frequent updates and not the full game. It’s almost like they prioritize the mobile game because they can make money off of it every month. Plus there’s not all that much to do in it and I don’t understand how it has such a huge fanbase. Sorry for the rant, have had more than one bad experience with pocket camp.

Even if they ported in PC items, I doubt the villagers would interact with them because that would require much more programming and effort. Villagers in PC don't walk around and change up what they're doing…they're largely items themselves that just randomize placement whenever you load up your camp. Feels more likely to me that Nintendo would concentrate on the next big AC game having more item interactivity and items instead of half-assing them into NH and risking even more complaints about lack of interactivity.
