so helpfull not to long at all
Can you do a detailed video on your camera views in game. I've been having so many issues. Especially the leveling my camera to be like straight on.

wish i knew about the tray folder earlier i delete my most handsome sims and nice houses
i downloaded mccc and it worked for the at first on sims but when i left and played again mccc stopped working, i re downloaded mccc to see if that would help, it didnt. pls tell me how to fix it
turns out my game has been saving every time i use the camera as a "screenshot" this has video freed…3GB of data on my computer.

I thought of putting my mods in folders but didn't know if it would mess up the game. I have so many mods, it's ridiculous and some mods I'd know what to delete if I wanted but others have all these files that are mostly numbers and I have no idea what to delete there. lol Plus if I wanted to get rid of certain clothing mods or makeup mods, I'd have no idea what to delete. There's also a file you have to delete if you have that Star Wars pack because otherwise the pack won't work right. That's only if you have basemental drug mod. The folder is called Trippy Batuu and the file is in the basemental drug folder. Oh and I love the UI extension mod too and MC Command.
My sim is dancing to a song I put in there and now i'm close to tears 😂 Simsie what have you done? lol 💜

Great info! I'm terrified of deleting the wrong things, and sad when simmers don't realize how easy and fast it is, and how much grief you all can avoid if you backup the whole folder: On a PC, the path is: This PC > Documents > Electronic Arts. The Sims 3 and TS4 are there, so I copy whichever folder I'm backing up, and paste it to the desktop. TS2 is under This PC > Documents > EA Games. I have backup folders on my desktop for T2, TS3, and TS4, and also copy them to an external hard drive. When you get a new computer, after installing the games, you can open This PC > Documents > Electronic Arts, delete the folders that are from the new installation, and copy/paste the backed-up version from the desktop or external hard drive. Origin will have TS2, TS3, and TS4 ready to install, but it won't have your saves. Don't be sad simmers. TS4 is 4 GB, TS3 is 11.3 GB, TS2 is 3 GB. After 20 years, it would crush my soul if I had to start over, so this way are the chances are greatly reduced. You can also save in the cloud, in case your house or computer gets destroyed.

This is genius 🤯🤯 I play on my dads computer and one time the game glitched and had made around 99,000 individual saves. It completely broke the game on origin so he redownloaded it on steam 😅

I needed this information like a year ago when I first played the sims on pc but its still great for the newer players to get the gist of cc and which folders are needed. So thank you for this. <3<3<3. Also I always try to change or add stuff to the folder while my sims game is open but there is always a pop up saying I can't.

When you talked about the save, all I could keep replaying in my head was the simsie save. "It's a save, not a mod. A save. Not a mod."
I play mp3s only in my game. If you know your genres, you can put your mp3s in whichever folder you think is the genre or close. It sounds great as long as the mp3 files are great.
