Native 4k, 60fps, utilize PS5 Pro's total available power. I want it this way.
So while excited still Max at the same time outside the story being one of the driving reasons does not make this game seem like it just has to be a must buy.
This seems closer to xenoblade DE which i dubbed a remakester because it sits somewhere in between the two.

I call it a Remakster. Its a common trend too now a days. With Xenoblade Definitive Edition and Nier Replicant too.

As someone who's on Xbox… I'm happy to be able to get some of that FF7 Remake love.
I’m wondering if the old ending theme will be used in this version of the game. The game updated voice actors and music, not sure if there was any licensing issues with the ending theme. Definitely going to pick up this game when it comes out all the same.

What i hated about the original was that roulette thing, it triggered way too often, interrupting the flow of the combat. I want it to be manual.
Also the story wasn't great up until the last chapters, when it connects with FF7.
Every time I hear Max talk about Crisis Core, I really wonder if he played a different game than I did.
As a non Final Fantasy fan, it's actually the first time I've about Crisis Core. What is it about?
I’m very curious how they’ll tie the original story to possible changes. The thing that made the old one regardless of its flaws, so impactful was the ending. And I feel A LOT of people who haven’t played the OG but who’ve played FF7:R will play and be spoiled on stuff that hasn’t be revealed

Bro its the same game, a slightly tweaked combo/input latency is not going to change that fact. I wouldn’t get my hopes up if you didn’t enjoy the original – I for one, enjoy the kingdom hearts era of square games

I will never not laugh at how Max emphasizes the first syllable in “Kingdom Hearts”
Good now take this remaster and remake it like you're doing with final fantasy 7 remake. Then proceed remaking ff6, ff8, ff9 while simultaneously working on ff17. Forgot the live service stuff(except for 14 keep that going), all the other crypto chain nonsense.
You can doll it up with all the bells and whistle ya want, you'll get my moment as an ff7 die hard, but they changed the voices… no Rick Gomez as Zack, and George Newbern as Sephiroth… thats my line… I don't entirely like the touch up, I have a deep love and bias for the old psp version, and I feel it just looks better.

I never really noticed the story issues when playing the original. I liked Crisis Core's story, as I related to it more than I did Cloud. Combat was fine to me, I kinda liked the control layout, where you used the L and R buttons to switch menu items. It made it unique to me and I beat the game several times. Its one of the few Final Fantasy titles I finished. One of the others being FF9. Though never finishing 8, its still the warm spot of my heart for the franchise, due to it being the one to get me into the series.
I’m sad to say I do t think this is worth 50 dollars even. It’s practically the same game and honestly the combat in this game was kinda bad. I get ppl enjoy all things related to ff7 trust me, but this is definitely not needed. So many games coming out unless it goes on sale I’ll be passing
