  1. since it appears that were approaching the end of the game (judging by the big END in the title), now seems like a good time to ask:

PLEASE react to the anime on the channel. i know this is mainly a gaming channel, but it kills me inside every time a youtuber plays through the first three games and then just, skips to v3 on the channel, even if they watch it offscreen. I NEED YOUR REACTIONS, THEY GIVE ME LIFE!!!!!

    that is all. thank you.

EDIT: this is another topic entirely, but did komarus voice get, like, a lot deeper immediately after she got possessed?

  2. Is this the longest continuous cutscene in non-visual novel game history? Wouldn't surprise me, shit takes over an hour.

  3. 52:16 Well, glad to see you made your decisions. And thank goodness that is a choice we will never ever ever have to make again even once, let alone to the point of being incredibly annoying and teeth grindy.

  4. I’m surprised!
Usually people have much more trouble with the Mage robot boss.
    Good job 👏

  5. Ah yes, we are in the Endgame now. Anyone else have the sudden desire to break some Controllers? No? Guess I will ask in 3 Minutes again.

  6. Okay so something about Monaka
I think she is supposed to be a combination of all of the kids traumas though probably not to the same extent
The info about how people treated her like an outsider similar to jataro
The fact that she was hurt enough to fake that she was in a weelchair with no questions asked similar to Masaru
The expectations that Junko and her family forced upon her like Nagisa
    Haiji…

  7. 1:33:00 I’m going to be that person and say that this iteration of the adults chanting is more effective in Japanese. Mainly because the words for destroy (kowase) and kill (korose) are just one syllable apart from each other.

  8. I still stand by my comment on the previous video. I still have a hard time accepting ghosts are actually a real thing in Danganronpa. And whilst accepting that yes, this is Danganronpa we're talking about and it gets pretty dang zany, I still feel like ghosts are just a step too far into the unbelievable.

  9. Also, I'm not sure why, but I believe the live feed Monaka did to outside of the building has no sound, so the adults don't hear her truth bombs.

  10. I really like that Komaru's voice deepens over the course of the game to present her shift in maturity. Its a small touch, but a cool one nonetheless

(Until a pre-rendered/animated scene happens and her voice weirdly reverts to the start of the game, but we can look the other way on those)

  11. Monaca's characterization toward the end of this episode is pretty solid and makes her a good villain but man am i tired of the "disabled villain" trope, here combined with the "disability faker" trope in an attempt to show that she's somehow even more despicable than we thought because she can… stand? I didnt have high hopes for this game but i guess i was just hoping that they'd do some like. poorly-executed genre satire like they did with kotoko instead of just playing it completely straight. it's just depressing to see the idea that if a disabled person isn't completely helpless then they must be faking and taking advantage of others.

  12. Actually the reason a few people are recomending the anime I believe it's not only bc it's "good" or "nice", but mostly bc (at least for me) it adds so much information and gives danganronpa 1 and 2 an ending…yes, both stories of both games don't end in the games. Anyway, please watch it LOL

  13. I was wondering why that boss fight was so short, then I remembered you're playing on the lowest difficulty, haha

  14. Allison sounds so defeated in the final announcement xd I can't imagine how long recording must have taken

  15. "Come on. An exploding helmet? You expect us to believe something like that?"
Yes, Haiji. This is clearly the greatest leap technology has made. Get back in your DNA scanning giant bear robot and project that message to the people on the TVs that are working and receiving messages in the sewers during societal collapse, while they hide from the hoard of mind controlled children and AI murder bears.

  16. I would just like to point out that Monaca has been talking a lot about expectations this episode, and being made out to be the bad guy. Being treated like an unwanted outsider in the family, physically abused, and her brother has made… that comment in an earlier episode. It's like her story is an amalgamation of the other warriors of hope themes and traumas.

  17. The last part of UDG is so good, Monaca ties herself with plot from games 1 and 2 and plays her role of villain so well. That's why I feel people shouldn't skip this game, it may have touchy subjects but everything is 5d chess by the big bad

  18. The controller scene seems to have a poor reputation as something repetitive and irritating but I just don't get that!
I think it's dramatic, funny and then becomes dramatic again! I really like it and I'm generally someone who'd say you should skip this whole game and go straight to v3 after 2.

  19. This part always felt pointless to me. If Komaru is holding the Monokuma controller, she could just control the Monokumas. There should be no suspense between weather to kill the kids or allow the adults to keep being killed. She could just make the Monokuma's stop fighting until the helmet situation is sorted out.
