DS2 Self-damage only. Can I beat Dark Souls 2 using only the buffing animation of Sir Alonne’s Boss weapon to inflict damage? Because it actually has a hitbox and does a surprising amount of damage. The obvious problem of course is that this slow animation will do massive damage to yourself while leaving you completely vulnerable and the hitbox is er… not too reliable. And Just like in my immolation run before, when you can only deal damage by hurting yourself, it will make DS2 a very painful experience.

Yeah toxic and poison are annoying in ds2, but then again they had to make it that way, had it been like in the other games a single life gem would have just nullified the effect.
On the plus side it made poison decently viable as an infusion, so that's nice at least.
