LMAO I've played this game for thousands of hours and I never knew you could just walk out from the Seath encounter in the Library… 😂
If you take the black eye orb back to Anor Londo where it quivered (next to Solaires summon) you can get revenge on the firelink keepers killer & restore the firelink bonfire
great fun to see Babs back on the channel! kind of a shame it wasn't for longer but you didn't have much of Anor Londo left that you could do with her anyway.
a couple things you might want to do in Anor Londo before you move too far away from it, one is to go back to the hall outside of the boss room, when you see the message "the black eye orb quivers," go to your items and use the black eye orb.
another thing is, remember the area downstairs from the rafters, the one you access from going down the rotating lift? there's a large painting in the back of the room you can interact with.
anyway, another brilliant episode. I hope you find the next part of the game as enjoyable as i did, because a lot of people say it's not great, and those people are liars and should not be trusted
That was chaos but also highly amusing ^_^ Dropping your armour probably gave you an advantage (stamina for days?) with all that underground speed running XD

As for the skeletons, if they're near a Necromancer, they'll regenerate UNLESS you kill them with a Blessed/Holy weapon.
Hehe, "Havel up", I haven't done that in a while. Still really effective. And kinda cool to see again.
It's not so much your level as it is your weaponlevel. It's at 10 currently and you need to find the ember that allows André to use those chunks and the slab, get it to +15. This is the appropriate time in the game to get it, even though it's in an area you can go to right from the start. An area you haven't visited yet, and that's all I say.
And yes, you pummeled Smough and Ornstein but a thing worth noting is that they were at triple(?) health because you were with three people. It was fun to watch and the music is just a joy to listen to. The only thing I regret is that you didn't get to see why this dual-boss is infinitely better then the godskin duo. That is a terrible bossfight, whereas this one is the best double bossfight Fromsoft ever did.
You still have several (optional) loose ends in Anor Londo.
If you are up for it and for the sake of having fun like during that last 15 minutes, I have a little bit of homework for you. Grab that claymore in two hands and rely on light rolling for your defense. Switch out the shield for the grass crest shield, it will still give the increased stamina regeneration rate, even when it's on your back. It's not a bad thing to rely on a shield but there's plenty of enemies where it just gets in your way, so it's good to familiarise yourself with an alternative, and at the same time get that 50% strength bonus for holding a weapon in two hands. But most importantly it's a rush to play like that. It's one of the reasons Bloodborne was designed the way it is, and it actually worked really well in this game too.
The environment speaks to you. Look at it almost carefully. Don't worry about the quests and things you missed in your hurry, you'll have the new game plus.
In the O&S fight, whoever you beat first, you can then buy their armour from the Giant Blacksmith. Of course you need their souls to make their weapons, so it takes 2 playthroughs to get both armours and weapons.
Hmm It was not good idea to take summons for this fight for the very first time. Now for you after that experience that was just random boss fight, like many in the past. But it is not. You should try this on your own … just try. 20 kills, then you could get some summons if tired of constant loosing. You will not include this fight to the most epic in the Souls series, because your attmept was so easy.

I don't mind that Emma used summons to beat O&S, but I do wish she'd gotten stomped by them solo a few times first. Just…you know….for the experience. Getting the ol' spear stunlock into instant hammer is a bitter memory for a lot of us XD

As to feeling underleveled.
There are four different areas to tackle to get to the four different lord souls and they are all currently accessible. Whichever one you choose first will have you feeling underleveled in that area and whichever is left for last will have you feeling over leveled.
So don’t worry about the levels, just go for it man, you and Fanta got this!
One of the most iconic fights – not just in Dark Souls, but all of gaming – usually.
Can't remember if you've tried it yet, but did you know you can "feed" items to Frampt to get souls? He's basically a shop to sell all the useless junk to!
Its worth exploring Anor Londo more outside and in the main hall. Lots of useful stuff going on there
The lady next to the Anor Londo bonfire can upgrade your estus!

Seath The Scaleless has the only boss fight where you can leave the boss room.
"whats the worst that could happen"? the worst that could happen is that you could die. And thats going to happen anyway. So, what is left to be scared of?
Glad to see you having fun with the game. I enjoyed soloing the game for challenge but I also love co-op and being able to join friends in tackling it together. This game has so many ways to enjoy it. Play it your way! 🙂

Enjoyed the Ornstein and Smough fight, or as I like to think of them, the "Titanic Two-o". I think this is the first time I've seen someone actually gang up on the team up battle 😀

Get the stats for the Black Knight Greatsword. You won't regret it. Different upgrade materials than your current weapons so there's no real downside.
