Aight but like who asked tho 💀💀💀
Loved this game and after a long hiatus I came back to it. I am having a blast!
The horror part is how bad it is compared to other MGS games.
The one question is, why is this considered a MGS game when it has nothing to do with a MGS game. The worst game ever
What if your dad and mom were actually Freddie Krueger and the Blair witch
Omg the hype was big af, but i have to say this, the game was a lackluster compared to previous games.
The beginning with ground zeroes game as the prelude of the phantom pain with that hospital start were amazing but still the story was weak, in anycase gameplay was cool af.
It's hard to believe the reveal was ten years ago. Time goes by in a flash.
I don’t know how to tie it to the theory, but what if the music cassettes that can be found on the locations are memories, because we remember that there was a tape recorder next to the bed and the radio was playing in the game, you can even find “the man who sold the world” and she played at the very beginning games on the radio
To be fair, Metal Gear Solid is all the time, a horror story of the shadow of nuclear war.
i hope mgsv gets popular again
well, its the first game of the series to have a letter or "roman number" on its name, unlike the previous games that has numbers of our decimal system instead. So it has to be one of the hints that lead us to your point. Really interesting mate! maybe the real mgs5 is coming…
It would have been interesting if it kept the facade of being a horror game and, in the end, it ends up being revealed to be an entry in the Metal Gear series.
metal gear solid v. the v stands for venom. or 5…
Looking back, it feels like when this game came out the whole mgs series just silently faded into the back ground. This game split the fanbase, people loved it while other fans myself included found it to be lack luster. I gave it chance but got bored after finding quiet. I still love the mgs series but mgs5 seemed to split the fandom and then the whole drama with konami didnt help.
No, Why "the real" bigboss has both eyes?
The most shocking part was just that tent with infected by archaebacteria, it was easy to fill missions with zombies and a large pandemic, although it gave a lot to think about since Chico also had an audio device connected like the test subjects in Africa therefore he would also be infected but mysteriously disappears from the plot with an unexplained death. Though explaining Snake's sterility.
Nah this is just Metal Gear Survive 2
MGS V was just a flash of OG MGS games end it with MGS4.
That is a fact, no story, just a gameplay, not even advenced as much as ather titles from this universe.
Most shocking think is that the very best universe in gaming industry is holded back because of head of Konami, that was get rid off Kojima & ended up the very best ride we players ever had it in our gaming or entertainment.
Meaby someday, somehow this universe will back… Silent Hill is back so there is a hope.
I hope I will be alive when this will happen heh…
We all love MGS games, soo fk much, that we feel phantom pain without it, that is fked up fact that Konami head don't fk care.
I hope we all gonna be able to play MGS games somehow, someday in future…
Thanks for that stories you deliver for us P. S.
Love for this game will be forever with us.
MGS changed who I'm, make it me who I'm today. Heh
I think it would be metal gear survive
Cool, I didn't know that and if the game had been a horror game, I probably would have played it.
We're still in a dream Ouroboros, looped until we figure out how to wake. 7 years later no one has made it out of the loop.
I remember everyone was like .. "wtf has the real big boss been doing all this 9 years"
Im like, taking care of yo ass😂😂
I won't lie. This video brought back some feels that I apparently repressed in disappointment. 😞
Great video. Such a nightmare…its unfortunate how twisted things got…
My dude is still be making mgs5 videos and dudes still be watching them 7 years later
MY THOUGHTS
Would have enjoyed it better as a separate, survival horror game and left the MGS series with the Peace Walker ending. In fact, and in my mind, MGSV is not Metal Gear Solid "5", but a story told through experiences of a wounded, hallucinating medic who suffers from PTSD and Dissociative Disorder. We fans, who want to be Big Boss, are not Big Boss. We are that medic. "We are Venom".
We don't know what happened after Peace Walker or what happened between then and the original Metal Gear. Other than what was written (and it could be heavily retconned as everything else in the series). Wrapping up the series is individual, ambiguous work. All up to our imagination, as is with the medic. We are the medic. And this, thereby creates an unsatisfying Phantom Pain.
No, I'm not praising Kojima's work as some glorified masterpiece. I'd rather a comprehensive conclusion to the series. These horror ideas would have been an awesome, separate game. I'm just coming up with something to make Kojima's work make sense.
Yeah the real horror game was metal gear survive.
Ground zeroes had a more darker/horror vibe to it.. I thought MGS 5 phantom Pain was going to monopolize off of that …
There was a slight identity crisis at the beginning.
The directive changed to freeroam pretty quickly during the developmen I imagined and they just went with it, having tiny scary moments like this indented in the game here and there: Such as during the Africa mission where you have to look at the test subjects who were forced to be infected with the language virus or during the virus infection on mother base where some members turn into "zombies".
The real horror was making this “open world” ruined the game
I don't understand people who deny all the theories around MGSV. The game literally starts by asking question whether things are facts or only interpretations. Taken at face value the game makes zero sense.
Mgs5 is just a bad fever dream for me at mgs universe that Kojima just thrown bunch of other mgs reference to it and butchered by konami in the making.
I’ve never been so hyped for a game ever and was SO disappointed by this game
MG 1988 is due for a remake
My first exposure to the franchise is this game, and legit the first hour especially in the hospital got me chills because idk wtf is going on especially the (spoilers) psycho mantis and the man on fire appearances at the start made it like a horror game
What if it played out like a super Mario Bros 2 situation and we woke up and found out it was sorrow's dream?
I think that ishmael was the helicopter doctor, and that poisonous snake venom was the protagonist of ground zeroes, ishmael's perspective is to be aware, and that of bigboss or jhon is not to be present, he is just a spectator. nothing more to add.
Props to you for finding (creating) such depth in so utterly shallow a puddle.
If you take a closer look you see there is always disturbing content happening from time to time.
It is not revealed due to the fact that MGS5 is an incomplete game, but i think Venomsnake has a serious mental disorder.
Something like psychosis paired with schizophrenia.
I mean think about it, first Ground Zeroes with the chopper acident plus the experience in the hospital afterwards plus the fact seeing another person in the mirror after you wake up from a coma, i doubt the medic could bear it.
Then the fact that so much delusional stuff is happening trough out the story.
They have strange futuristic tech( they dont even have in MGS4) Sahalanthropus is a fucking Gundam, something between REX and RAY.
A burning Man on a burning horse, a burning whale???
Rubbing cremated people in your face, seeing yourself bloodbathed???
All that stuff for me is proving myself that Venomsnake is totally lost in delusion.
And somehow, trough out the story you get the feeling its getting worse or better said, the manifesting delusion gets stable as sign of the medics Schizophrenia devour his true self, somehow cures but is transitioning him to a fake self with fake reality.
Love MGSV, but come on: the opening level was absolutely not scary lol
I held off from spoilers from the game years after release. I was busy with life and played it maybe 3 4 years after I got a ps4 just sitting in the corner of my room. I was really excited to play it. After the first mission I was blown away, I thought "holy fuck, this is going to be amazing.". The intro was so intense, exciting, and made me wanting more. But going through the game was utter shit beyond that point. The fact that half the missions were reruns but with "higher difficulty" was so cheap. From how I see it the game only has around 12 actual missions if that many. With the amount of conclusions and chapters mgs4 had, no storyline or narrative has only 2 chapters. Kojima being a film lover, I know for a fact the game is not done, and never will be. So me I hated mgsv, but that first mission was probably the greatest thing I played on it's own for what it was in several years in terms of how much they put into it.
I just started a gaming channel and I would deeply appreciate if anyone has the time to check out some of my vids. If you would like me to check out your channel or would like me to play a certain game, just comment on my channel and let me know. Hope you all have a blessed day!!!
It wasn't, it very, very obviously wasn't going to be a horror game. It's just another Kojima thing to have an intro this in depth
The real horror is not getting closure on Eli stealing sahelanthropus and never getting an actual ending on any of that.
Eu carrego uma cobra sólida dentro das calças
I own MGS 5 ground and phantom pain on my Xbox but I never liked this franchise at all I hated 1, 2 and 3 I hate topdown games it's old as fark genre I'm having trouble Trying to concentrate on ground zeros and phantom pain I played phantom pain to the escape on horse to helicopter part and those stupid robot guys doing the handicap dance in the desert but I'm bored by then so I haven't been back to play this rubbish game I just can't like this rubbish franchise but I do like metal gear rising I like it fast sword action unlike the rest of the games are slow take time and perfection to get out alive I hate that shert I just want go in guns blazing fark the stealth elements just pure kill everything reason why I walked away from metal gear solid I hate the patience game I prefer fukn everything up face up close up and personal I just don't got patience like I used to in my teens days so yeah I'm struggling to want to go back to play MGS 5 both games I hate the franchise TBH except rising Revengence the rest can die
I don't get why companies that own popular games franchises drive them into the dirt or even ignore its core fan base. It's like they forgot where the money comes from.
