Dark Souls is often referred to as one of the hardest games of all time, but in reality it’s a broken mess of a game that can be easily dismantled, just by playing the game normally and by using straight edge builds.
And then there are many busted builds that completely trivialize the difficulty, as well as insane soul farming glitches and exploits. This game really only ends up being hard if you choose to progress in an underpowered state.
Somehow my Ninja Gaiden episode was longer than this one lol.

My first two playthroughs I had to parry Gwyn to death. Now that I’ve beaten all the other Soulsborne games multiple times I wonder if I can take him down like Ryu did

I find it quite baffling that even in Elden Ring (which came out 10 years later) they still haven't fixed the camera angles for large enemies, but still confront you with larger and larger opponents…

Dark Souls isn't nearly as hard as its reputation says. The difficulty happens when people rush in unprepared. This game is all about careful exploration and preparation. Get impatient? You die.

100%ing Yoshi's Island is harder than beating Dark Souls. No, I'm not Kidding. Yes, I have beaten both. Dark Souls is an incredible game and one of my all-time favorites but I've never understood why it's always been the bar for what can be considered a ridiculously hard game.
I have a friend who legitimately thought Dark Souls was the hardest game ever made. He had never even see the game before and had no idea what kind of game it was. The myth of Dark Souls' difficulty is quite strong.

Ryu kicking the black knight off a cliff and then complaining he didn't get the drop. Dude the body fell off a cliff even if it did drop an item it's now at the bottom of a canyon.
