Nier Automata was a game that caught by surprise when I played it on December 2021, after I finished it I got that feeling in my heart that knowing I had just played one my favorites games of all time.

This is the kind of port I wanted to see in the Resident Evil games for Switch, but unfortunately, Crapcom made cloud versions, and there's no way they're going to make these games out in physical format anymore… There's no doubt that the Nintendo Switch is very underrated.

Just got this a few days ago. Glad I did.
I noticed when playing it that the jump feels really delayed and mushy? Is that a problem with the switch version or was the jump always like that? It makes platforming unusually hard
I platinum'd this on PS4 and it's one of those games that I absolutely adored the gameplay but if im perfectly honest Yoko Taro's writing style is not for me.
Just way to bleak.

Just picked up Nier Automata on switch as well! I'm only done with one playthrough, but it's already blown me away with the presentation, gameplay, and especially the music. Still a bit confused on the story though
Use self distruckt in menu and activate and 2b will remuve dress this game have 26 endings and die in game and resurect your body to fight whit you
I wish you played it on a better console or pc, the switch version is so sad in comparison xD

Nier Automata was made by the same studio as Bayonetta, or at least the action part.
Hey awesome, who would have thought? Deebeegeek playing Nier:Automata right after I mention it in my comment on his previous video. Can't watch this video tho I'm afraid, since I haven't played Nier yet, and don't want any spoilers.
Have fun; I may not have played Nier yet, but I know enough to know that you, sir, are in for a wild ride indeed!
I haven't finished the game 100% yet, bit I don't think its as good as people say.
The combat is just watered down Bayo with RPG mechanics.
And the story though having an interesting mechanic with you playing as a new character on repeated playthroughs, just has that feel that some anime have of just fading away, not really finding a resolution for the story other then throwing more and more bad endings at the characters it barely even introduced us to.
26 ending, even if most of them are optional and or just for humour, it can feel like a slog to get them all when you already know that its more often than not going to go for the route that's the most "deep" and "depressing".
And what just ramps my small nitpicks up is how people relentlessly praise without really giving a reason behind the praise, or claiming that its some sort of "overshadowed masterpiece" even though EVERYONE KNOWS ABOUT IT.
There are genuine masterpiece games out there that actually have interesting mechanics and stories.
Lisa: The terrible Katana Zero The Wonderful 101 or Vanquis, Warhammer 40k Space Marine or Fallout New Vegas, Hotline Miami.
I get why people like this game, but when people act like its the best thing since sliced bread, it just makes it feel underwhelming when you actually play it.

I really wish they’d remaster drakengard 3 for Nintendo switch or PlayStation again, these two are my favorite installments in the lore
I finished my first playthrough on Switch today( first time playing Nier Automata even though I own both Automata and Replicant for the PS4) and began my second playthrough and I’m hooked. The world, music, lore, the struggle of the androids to understand human emotions and seeing the remaints of humanity through the machines mimicking the humans was just a punch to the face man, it even made me question my own humanity.

The only thing that bothered me a lot about Nier Automata was the introduction stage. There are no saving points whatsoever and not even one before the final boss. I ended up repeating the whole stage once again which was super frustrating.

Reminding of the Nier raid in FFXIV it's literally one of my fav raids to do. It also has some of the Nier music you can collect and listen to! Also it does play the same music as the fight!
I've only ever played one Nier game before and it was fun! I should get this one.
