neir automata is not an RPG bro it's an action game get it right!
A question is: which will be better? the switch versions or the pc versions on the steam deck?
To be fair considering how poorly the ps4 version of Soul Hackers 2 runs I’m glad it’s not on the switch. Sure it would help with sales but it’s not worth putting a garbage version for the switch. I’m extremely excited developers put in the effort for Nier and P5R to run well for Switch
Now if we can just get the rest of the Dark Souls series on that thing.
Hopefully this shows these gaming companies we don’t want cloud versions
I’m getting persona five Royal and sonic frontiers they both look great. Hope you have a great day man.
I've been dying to play Nier Automata for a very time. It's on the Nintendo Switch at long last, better late than never. It's also one of the reasons I chose to pickup a classic controller pro for that and Bayonetta 3. I feel like Nintendo fans should support these 3rd party AAA titles, especially Nier Automata and Bayonetta 3. I also realized most of my games are 3rd party titles, glory to the developers.
I’m one of those Amazon Persona 5 preorders lol
“I’m just doing opium” lol
Played both games on PlayStation and I already pre ordered both switch version. The same with No man’s sky. Those three games on the go? Hell yes!
Do you need help with your trash video titles? i’ll do it for free
My hope is that P5R does insanely well and we get a PQ3 or ports for PQ1/2 green lit for everywhere. Also of course maybe 6 on what is after Switch.
I would buy NieR: Automata on Switch if I didn't already own it on Xbox. I'm glad it's been made available on Switch with a REAL port. glares at Kingdom Hearts
I'm pretty psyched for Persona 5 Royal. I don't own a PS4 or a PS5, so I haven't had access to the game before now. I know practically nothing about the Persona franchise, but I've heard such great things about this installment that I decided to go ahead and give it a shot on Switch. And I have to say, it was a really smart marketing move for them to offer limited edition steelbook cases for physical pre-orders at no extra charge. I've got mine pre-ordered.
In my view, Stadia didn't fail because people couldn't download their games. Stadia failed because it should have been Netflix for video games (with full access to a large library of games for a reasonable monthly fee). Asking people to pay full price for individual games that they can't actually possess in any way is a ludicrous business model. I don't know how they thought such a thing was ever going to work.
Best Buy already has the PS5 version of Soul Hackers 2 marked down $20.
it coming for gamepass
Yeah…. hard pass for these games for me on the switch. Already had these game's on ps4 and xbox and I plan on playing p5r on gamepass ..😏
Persona 5 is NOT an action jRPG :/
Come on OJ, you know the difference
I preordered P5R probably because Persona just feels weird not playing on a portable.. Then again, that may be because I started with P4G on Vita..
Funny I’m old enough to remember when they never did meticulously regionalize RPGs.. That entire concept was said to be started by western devs so that the titles from overseas would be perceived to be more niche..
As far a Nier Automata I couldn’t even make it past the tutorial.. I do like the gameplay however.. I kinda like Nier Replicant a little better tbh
I’m glad these games were brought over and they were done well. The Switch is such an ideal machine for widespread use and flexible usage.
Plus it is a great machine for physical games. Companies just need to put the games on a little cartridge and off they go.
These are all great games and glad to see the Switch install base jumping on them.
I was looking forward to soul Hackers 2 but lost interest cause it's not on the switch yet.
I really hope that this games do really good in sales to at least make Square Enix port Nier Replicant v1.22 to the switch.
It doesn't take a professional data analyst to see that there is a base for Japanese RPGs on the Switch and the foreseeable future on Nintendo. The way that Japan is going, I don't know how they can ignore that and still go hard on Playstation. A smaller company like Nihon Falcom is already feeling that pressure. We'll see how their latest game does in the next Famitsu chart. Regarding Atlus, they missed their biggest window of potential sales during the peak of the Joker Smash hype. It will sell fairly well but who knows how big that momentum would've translate had they jump on it sooner.
I'm glad people are getting what they wanted. Couldn't pay me enough to play a JRPG on Switch personally if its not first party. 720p at 20fps? No thank you. Most of them can't even maintain a consistent 30 and anything below 60fps in 2022 is just a bad joke. Nintendo needs to release a Switch that doesn't feel like its 2 generations behind.
Pre ordered no man’s sky (even if it have it on PS5) and NiEr (first time playing it). We need to reward great developers
I love that these games are coming to the Switch but ima hit you with a lame cop out. My main reason for not buying some games on the switch is simply due to achievements. I love monitoring my progress and achieving some hard-earned achievements, but the switch nor Nintendo seem to care about this.
I mean, if someone really wants cloud gaming they go the path of GamePass at this point. Pay the monthly low sub fee and game away. Buying full price games that are only streaming was always so iffy to me.
buy NieR on Switch
do it now 😎🤙👍👍
Joker from smash bros lol
looks like i'm gonna buy it for the 3rd time
Great video buddy I am glad to hear you enjoy Nier Automata on Switch 🙂
Really, I think the biggest issue with games coming to the Switch now is the age of the system. The technology inside the Nintendo Switch was already outdated when the system came out back in 2017 so now in 2022 it's understandable that if your game wasn't targeting the system to begin with that it would probably entail significant effort to create a "good" port for the system. Not every studio or publisher feels like they can justify this expense because the Switch architecturally is very different from even the PS4 and Xbox One meaning that a decent amount of effort needs to go into a port to the system to ensure quality. Obviously it CAN be done and we've seen some fantastic examples of it but for every Nier Automata we get 5 other games that run like crap on the Switch to the point that we praise developers for porting a game to the system that actually works like intended instead of holding all of them to what should be the default standard for a playable video game. This is why I really hope that Nintendo comes out with something fantastic for their next system that keeps everything great about the Switch idea while also bumping up the performance in all aspects so that we can not only get ports of 5 year old games but hopefully ports of actual current gen games. I hope that the Switch OLED moving to $350 signifies that Nintendo is willing to maybe push their next system out at $400 so that they can give it everything it needs to thrive for 5-7 years instead of being outdated almost immediately.
All this does is make me want a truly next gen Switch with the hope that Nintendo will think about it from every angle and come up with something that has it where it counts when it comes to the hardware. The thing I'm actually worried about the most when it comes to holding back a possible Switch successor is that it may not leverage SSD tech for its games as I feel like it going to use similar media as the current Switch. I think it could totally have an M.2 SSD spot open for expansion but that games will basically just like they do currently off of flash-type memory. Again, this may not be a huge problem if the system launches within a year or so but by the time we really get into its life I think that sort of limitation will start to show itself as something more prevalent.
preordered both ❤
Pre-ordered both Neir and P5R, very excited!!
Play Switch but I like achievements.
Nier sucks tho. Js but persona 5 royal tho is GREAT!
Soul Hackers hasn't been doing well all around, so that argument is moot
Problem I've noticed with Skyward Sword Switch is the audio isn't as good as the DVD.
The Switch now has BoTW, The Witcher 3, Nier Automata and Persona 5 Royal. All games were GOTY material in their time. It's the only console to ever have all those games in its library. I'm such a proud Switch owner since day one it was released and we've been through a lot. I remembered how haters were saying the Switch will flop and it will not have much games. Look at us now! Sick library of games
I can’t wait to play P5 for the 1st time 😎 preordered
Next, I wish they would bring the classic God of War 1, 2, and 3 to switch. I know it is Sony, but damn that would be a dream.
Dude you and another YouTube used to drive me nuts always saying persona 5. I finally started persona 5 and 5 strikers and ya were right I FRESKING LOVE THESE 2 GAMES NOW lol I'm addicted, love the game play, the characters the story. Thanks for the recommendation
