My favorite part was the race against human torch
The hobgoblin fight and venom vs Wolverine made me rage so hard as a kid and my dad snapped my disc in half bc he was tired of hearing me yell at the game 😂 he bought me another copy but it’s a funny memory looking back

the cutting off of quips after a crime bug is only present in the remaster, idk why they havnt fixed it yet its so weird

How sick would it be if in insomniac Spider-Man Two, we were Venom in and they redid that fight from ultimate but it was an insomniac Wolverine! Linking the insomniac marvel gaming universe!
Probably my favorite moment from the Ultimate Spider-Man game, was Peter having to fight Venom at his school (I think it was)

The mission I got stuck on as a kid was me chasing the goblin thru the streets and once I finally did it I kept dying on the boss battle 😭 I revisted it last year and it was so much easier than I remembered

Honestly I think I enjoyed the world's aesthetic in general for Ultimate Spider-Man. It's like it was ripped off the pages of the book. Unfortunately the game wasn't as good as people said it was when I beaten it. The missions were all just rinse and repeat chase this baddie then there will be a boss fight (esp for Spidey). At least Venom's fights were interesting and kinda smart (eg w/ Electro). Spidey fights are just jump around , then punch or kick when the opportunity arrives.

I am still stuck in the mission where you have to chase Venom too. I tried it again after a year and I did it but then…. the game crashed and I said that I will never try it again. I love the game, but that mission is so hard with a broken controller and a PS2 that crashes often. Also my favorite thing in the game were boss fights, suits and Venom

My greatest memory is USM was the Venom v Carnage battle and then Venom getting the white spider on the chest being in full control. Mind bloooown 🤯
That electro boss fight took me a couple hours cause I was so annoyed. I played the gameboy version as well and it was kinda hard at times too
The reason why I LOVE The Ultimate Spider-Man game is I grew up as a PC GAMER and had a pure disappointment when I get my hands on SPIDER-MAN 2 (PC) , I was so happy playing it on my friend's PS2 .. then suddenly the PC version of it were far from what PS2 had…. then Ultimate Spider-Man was released and it was like THE BEST Spider-Man game i've ever played that time

It’s Funny How I Had The Same Story With Struggling With The Game And Had To Set It Down, But The Mission I Got Stuck On Was When You Have To Fight I Think This Version Of Green Goblin Was Hob Goblin, But It Was The Part Where You Fight Him Inside The Burning Building

I’ll do you one better. Insomniac starts a new ultimate Spider-Man game franchise after the current franchise is over. I never got stuck in ultimate Spider-Man
I never had the chance to play the original Ultimate Spider-Man, but I love Venom so it looks super cool. I hope it gets some kind of remake or rerelease.
one day we will get to see a remaster of all spider-men games like edge of time web of shadows etc
I think Insomniac putting this game on PC allows them to what fans really want from the next game, mainly new costumes.

I think the original art style is completely different from this one and I personally like that comic book cell shaded style more. 🤷♂️
