I'm not saying this game doesn't look amazing, but it certainly doesn't look like a MGS game. I don't like the thought of open world for a series that's known to be very systematic and story-driven. I sincerely hope I'm wrong and it turns out to be the best in the series, but I have my reservations about it. Not every game is made better from open world.
I just lost my internet. Moved way out in the country were my online bill for dish would be waaay above my budget. Please tell me this game is playable offline. Mgs is my favorite franchise and it would be a shame to miss out because of online requirements for a single player game.

Anyone know what you can do to limit scouting information. like when snake is looking through solid eye is there a way to stop him automatically making everyone visible through the walls. like in an option setting? thanks
Just pre-ordered this on Steam, now I have to sit through more than two weeks of it staring at me. Damn I'm excited! I wish I had some kind of cryogenic freezing chamber that I could just use whenever I fancied it. I'd be straight on the phone to my boss; "Yeah I can't work until about September the 10th, something very important has come up…" If only!
Kojima: Hey lets make a "stealth game" where you can see everyone through walls! And lets not stop there, we'll give the player a ton of other gadgets that let them beat the game without trying.
All this demo showed me was that the game spoon feeds its players. Kojima is going all COD: MODERN GIMMICK on us.
Also, the one way codec is annoying as fuck. I don't want to hear one way chatter whenever I do something.
Morpho is far more useful in this one. Ground Zeroes if he does attack, he only ever uses the cannon. I've never seen him use the rocket payload he quite clearly has.
guys heres some interesting info you like to hear: if u have mgsgz for ps3 or 4 and if u get mgsvtpp you can transfer your mgsgz data to the mgsvtpp data that means hehh heres an example: if you caught many troops in mgsgz, and when you transfer the data to the new game yoi get the same troops in mgsvtpp from mgsgz
They should make Metal Gear Solid 4 Definitive Edition PS4 or Remastered PS4 That game was too good. remastered for ps4 updated graphics even better, After playing phantom pain who would't want a remastered MGS4.
