GOING IN COMPLETELY BLIND!! HORIZON ZERO DAWN BLIND PLAYTHROUGH – PART 19
We have an audience with the Sun-King himself.
I know next to nothing about Horizon Zero Dawn, it’s a complete blind playthrough and it will be followed up with the sequel Horizon Forbidden West.
ABOUT HORIZON ZERO DAWN:
Earth is ours no more.
In an era where Machines roam the land and mankind is no longer the dominant species, a young hunter named Aloy embarks on a journey to discover her destiny.
In a lush, post-apocalyptic world where nature has reclaimed the ruins of a forgotten civilization, pockets of humanity live on in primitive hunter-gatherer tribes. Their dominion over the new wilderness has been usurped by the Machines – fearsome mechanical creatures of unknown origin.

The most comments get to choose where we head next!! Where to next? Pitchcliff or Maker's end?
3:00 Meridian is actually in present day Utah. The Nora are in Colorado.
Pitchcliff.
8:29 I see we're back firing on all cilinders hahahahaha
When you do the codex episode, don't forget to click on the collectibles as well. There is extra information in the Vistas.
This doesn't qualify as a spoiler because its only ever mentioned in the HZD comic and not the games itself but Avad hesitated to kill his father in the solarium so Ersa had to do it. Avad was given the credit because Marad was afraid that he would look weak.
Carja clothing is pretty dope and definitely my favourite. I do like how different the Nora, Oseram, Banuk and Carja outfits look from each other.
A small tip: Next time you are selling stuff, check your blue items, you have multiple that you sell only.
Also you can not only fast travel to campfires but also the icons of cities and villages on the map.
Pitchcliff.
When feasible, I always mop up side quests before advancing the main storylines. In this case, you can do both in a single location.
You did well against the Rockbreaker. You fully froze it by shooting it with freeze arrows until the little elemental circle was full. That's what it takes to get the benefits of elemental ammo.
If you do the same with Acid, Fire, and Corruption, and attack the machines' weaknesses, Aloy can wreck powerful machines.
A nice suprise to get a vid this weekend. Thanks. Hate those rockbreakers. Good buzz taking them down tho
I love your top. It’s fabulous
🙂
2:54 Y'know…. There's an Eagle Canyon in Utah…
Welcome back!
Hi i missed you welcome back <3
Do Pitchcliff first then onto the main quest after. There are a few quests near Pitchcliff that you can do all at once while you're there. You should enjoy Maker's End after though…the story starts to get very interesting
I'm reasonably sure that all the big metal circular structures on mesas up there are the remains of radio telescopes from our era.
Wow I missed your Zero Dawn videos and I was so upset that I was not able to watch this video until now but at least it was worth the wait! I really like the idea of you having a codex episode because I love how much you are interested and appreciate the lore of this game (Which this game has tons of). However if you were only going to read one this episode thank goodness it was the perfect one to read this episode. I love your interest in some of these characters and how you are practacly becoming as close with them as Aloy is. They may have been retorical but I would be happy to answer 2 of your questions from this episode.
In regards to why Erend didn't check for the scar on Ersa's body I have played this game several times and I caught many small details. 1st it is implied that all the other bodies in the area were recognizable Erend did say "they hate us and Ersa most of all" so all the other bodies in the area really were Ersa's men and it made sense that Ersa would be in worse condition than the others. 2nd while investigating Aloy noticed that straps were cut so they put a different woman in the armor that really was Ersa's. 3rd Aloy only found blood on a single rock suggesting that the poor woman's face was the only thing smashed. So the body was of a woman with the same body type, skin, and hair color. Now dispite all that it sill might be obvious with hind sight that Erend should have checked closer but he would have been in such an emotial state that even a smart person may not have thought to question it. Sure denial is a common reaction to losing someone too but like you said "everyone greives in different ways".
In regards to your question about what Avad wants to do as a leader well several things were briefly mentioned already and you said you were going to do a codex episode so you may not need to read this part. But early in the game they said Avad outlawed slavery and turned the gladiator Sun Ring into a memorial to the fallen. As for some changes in the Hunter's lodge you will read the "rules of the hunter's lodge" in your codex episode and I think Avad is handling this delecate situation with the Oseram very well trying to help Ersa and not being reckless either; and just imagine his situation not only does he have a very tough situation with a lot of pressure on him but even as a person it really says something that he is as capable as he is given that he had no decent fauther figure to learn from; and as you learned from the text you read this episode Avad had an older brother who died so for most of his life he had no expectation of getting the throne. I thought your reaction to Avad was so cute. Forget Aloy I ship YOU with Avad and I think he would take you up on your offer!
