There's a grenade expansion mod that does in fact offer deployable turrets.
PFFTT Conan Exiles an RPG? Please funcon, that statement can't be further from the truth, yes, you can role play if you want, but that's as far as the rpg element goes, heck FO 76 has more npc interaction than Conan, a better description would be Rust but with barbarians, same degree of toxic players, but with 16 times the bugs.
