Pokémon Journeys: The Series is the eighth part of the anime series. It features all of the regions from the main-series games, including the Generation VIII games Pokémon Sword and Shield. This series shares its Japanese name with the original series when the anime first premiered in 1997, and is officially labeled with “2019”, the year this series started in, for disambiguation. This new series focuses on the two protagonists Ash Ketchum and Goh, along with their partners Pikachu and Cinderace. It also features a young girl named Koharu (Chloe), who has a Yamper, and her father, Professor Sakuragi (Cerise), who runs a laboratory in Vermilion City. It features all the regions that have appeared in the Pokémon games, from Kanto to Galar. Pokémon from each region will also appear while Ash is pursing Leon in the Pokemon World Coronation Series (PWC) and Goh is chasing his dream in Project Mew.

I would definitely say Goh is going with Project new.
To be honest here, I haven't been watching the anime a whole lot. I can't hardly remember the last episode. I've been just watching people reviewing the episodes.
Up to this far, Goh has been… umm…. a controversial character in the series from what I've seen. He's been catching pokemon left and right with exceptions of a legendary that… well… left fans in shock an anger and this goes to the rest of the series' episodes too.
Personally I'm not quite the fan of Pokemon Journeys anime. It did however came of strong in a few first episodes but…. I just lost interest from there.
I'm actually more excited about a new anime series of Pokemon, focusing on the new games Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. Hopefully it does well and that perhaps the writers learn their mistakes from Pokemon Journeys. Please… For the life of Arceus, let the new anime be good. The next LAST thing I want is a another anime series performing bad then it's previous series.
Anyways, I can't really say whether I like Goh or not since again… I haven't been watching the anime but he kinda has to leave. Again, no hate for the character but from what I've seen, he's left a reputation among the fandom… and it's not a good one.
How are they gonna have time for Goh to catch all Pokémon when Journeys is about to come to an end?
