Age ups need a weirdly large amount of space lately.

Yeah, I was having issues with the aging up with a cake too. I don't know if it's fixed but it didn't seem to matter where I put the cake, it didn't work. I had to age up in Cas mode. Aging up toddlers with a cake works but not after that for me.
i get "sniff and introduce" for every toddler no matter what

I really hate the "Best Friends" bug because my sim was in the middle of filming on set as a global Superstar and this guy that he barely met walked on the stage in the middle of an action scene to ask to be best friends; of course, during the next scene, the director came up and asked to be best friends 🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️

James Turner was having Santa Claus randomly show up in his "highschool" lets play too and had a similiar aging up issue with the cake not working due to not being enough space but also not showing that via the red footprint shrug thing that usually happens with those types of space errors. He had to move the counter outside of the tiny home for it to work. Its weird. Maybe it has something to do with the cheerleading moves? maybe they recycled the aging up spin animation so now aging up is considered cheerleading and needs more than a tile of space? or maybe its a glitch with the wedding pack and tier cakes? though seems too new to be that.

I don't know when you recorded this but about two weeks ago I had a gameplay session where everything was going wrong. My Christmas tree spontaneously combusted first try and appliances were breaking multiple times a day. Maybe it's a bug? It seems to have been fixed by now or maybe I've just been unusually unlucky, but oh boy

Hear me out – while we have a sim that can make ambrosia, make one more. Then SAVE it, have a sim become a scientist (Blue's spouse?), get the cloning machine and boom – cloneable ambrosia. There isn't terribly long left with this challenge, but obviously the sims are getting more accident prone.
