Happy Sunday lovely people! First of all sorry that there’s a fairrrrly long load of boss-fight footage. I didn’t wanna cut it out or edit it down because I felt like each time I was learning and getting better so cutting it out would lose a lot of progress and interesting fights. So hopefully you enjoy watching it. If not then feel free to skip ahead 😂
Secondly I hope you all have a great week and thank you as always for watching
Unsheathe your sword and give that gaping dragon a jolly good poking!
Loved the intro by the way!
Well done beating the toothed vagina Dragon 🐲😱
Vagina Dentata!!!! It’s true!!!! Yes I’ve seen Teeth. Awesome stream as always.
Hey on the light roll. I don't know why people tell you it's a dex thing because dex has no effect on how the dodge works. Maybe they believe it works better as a strat when you wield a dex weapon? But that's not necessarily true.
Besides that being a personal preference, the great axe and great club have what many consider the best roll attack in not only the game but the entire genre. It is completely amazing, so there's two strength weapons that benefit from a light roll.
Now you are not using those weapons, but there is no reason for you not try out the light roll and see what you thing of it. The difference is far greater then in elden Ring.
Oh, endurance does come into play when you want to use that more. Unlike in any game that came after, endurance buffs both stamina and your equipment load.
Oh, and since you asked, it's probably the easiest boss in the game … Ones you know im at least. And probably the most daunting to, which still make it a great fight.
You smack him in the face, run to his tail end, poke him in the bum, see how he reacts. Basically how you did it in the end. He's a big p*ssy really.
You can enter blightown two ways, one way hard the second way is a nightmare that'll drive you to insanity, yep you've gone in the second way Emma good luck 😱😋
Gather round, near close to the fire and hear now on how Fanta the brave managed to remove the curse placed on her and how gravity played a nasty trick on her, but also let's all quietly and without (much) yelling at the screen will keep our mouths shut before she goes into the horrible trap that is the shanty town of well…. nastiness, toxicity, and smells. No one here tell her that she should get the help of a raven to go back and get a special little thingy… I SAID NO ONE!
I love the Gaping Dragon. Its my favourite in this game. I haven't seen Teeth, but I do know what you're referring to! 😄
Lovely reaction to her "arrival". I think all DS players have a similar reaction!
Pro gamer Emma back at it again with the pro gamer moves
The axe did nothing because you dont have the stats. Two handing gives you a strength boost, but still not enough.
About weapons that requires stats u don't have, u can two hand them effectively only when u have half of what is required. So, u need 25 str to wield that axe two handed and 50 str one handed. It has special attack too but that depletes endurance of weapons fast while doing incredible dmg. Weapons will do basically nothing if u dont meet requirements in DS1. Later DS games u could use with lesser effects.
Also, another thing to note from Gaping Dragon fight, it is really difficult to reset after playing Elden Ring first then DS1. DS1 is the slowest of all and playing with str build which is even slower so u need to be much more mobile on feet. U need to keep strafing around bosses or rolling occasionally or will keep getting hit always as character won't move so quickly as u are used to in ER. That was apparent in that fight as u basically took hits standing. It really is difficult adjusting the game speed but it is vital in future as this actually is a very easy boss. Nightmares are waiting for u
every ennemy with a tail in ds1 drop a weapon if you cut it, only the last boss of the dlc can't have his tail cut
if you had gone for the priest to buy purging stone, he sell them for 3000, the old lady sell them for 6000 each, she really stole your time and money
Most important tip for Blighttown: Do not panic and run and ALWAYS FOLLOW THE TORCHES for direction forward. Good luck in this pain of a place. ✌️
This intro… 😂 I love it. 🔥🔥
The only person to have more trouble with Galping dragon than orphan of kos lol
31:07
Brutal. The definitive souls experience. F's for Fanta
Edit: 37:51 Oh..
You found it. I ran right past it myself.
Once you're able to wield the Dragon King axe, it'll have a faster swing. Just in this Souls game, if you can't make the stat requirements, you use a weak gimpy moveset instead.
And so the adventure continues. The Depths is one of the areas in DaS that feels most like Demon's Souls in my opinion. Very old school D&D vibes.
this is funny you talk about Solaire because is waiting to help right next to the boss room but it's not very helpful in this fight, he get kill sometimes really fast and the dragon have more hp, don't forget you need to be humain to summon help
Just going to go on the record with everyone else. LOVE the intro!
Nice video ♥️
Love the intro 😂
purple is free in the forest near the blacksmith, you really don't need to buy em
Lol, the intro is so good. XD
"Yes, indeed." XD
