The AS VAL was introduced during BF4s Second Assault Expansion and is available upon completion of the Pilot Assignment. The weapon features an intrinsic suppressor, which, much like the Groza-4, serves as a hybrid attachment, providing the benefits of both a Suppressor and Heavy Barrel, thereby making the AS VAL the most accurate PDW. It also has one of the highest damage profiles, dealing a maximum of 30 damage per bullet while firing at 900 RPM. This high killing potential is balanced by a limited magazine of 20 rounds and a sharp vertical kick.
As for attachments, I prefer to run the AS VAL with the Laser Sight, the Intrinsic Suppressor, and Stubby Grip, alongside the sight of your choice.
Use the AS VAL if you wish to have a greater medium range, PDW presence with one of the most accurate suppressed weapons in the game.
