Ask me half a year ago what I thought about Persona, I would have blown it off as “just another JRPG”, but due to some convincing from a good friend of mine, I decided to give the games a shot, starting with Persona 5 Royal, and I have never been more surprised by a series. I expected to eventually get into the story as the psychology and symbolism behind Persona was so incredibly strong, but I’ve never liked Turn-based combat alongside not being a big JRPG fan. But it was everything I expected to dislike, became aspects I truly loved. I wanted to take a look at Persona 5 Royal as a whole, from my perspective as a newcomer to the series in the hopes, of sharing these games to a wider audience, because I truly do believe that these games are must-plays, for everyone.
