The Last of Us Part 2 has received a permanent price drop to $39.99. The drop has caused debate whether a TLOU2 Director’s Cut announcement could be incoming, perhaps including the The Last of Us 2 Factions multiplayer mode that people have been waiting for a long time for now. At the same time, many people have been discussing sales numbers for Naughty Dog’s latest title. While TLOU2 did receive more awards from game critics any game has ever done, the game did not have the long legs compared to other massive PlayStation exclusives on PS4 & PS5.
