Metal Gear Solid 5 is a flawed game and in some ways those flaws stick out like a sore thumb, but if you really open your heart to what it was able to accomplish with its fresh take on the series, there is a lot of fun to be had from this type of experience in the franchise.
The differences between it and past iterations in the series might not make it for everyone – and that’s okay – but at the same time, it’s still definitely one hell of a game.
