Where is @Naughty Dog’s standalone multiplayer game?! Probably THE number one question at the forefront of every Factions enthusiasts mind. Not only was The Last of Us Factions successor not released in 2021, it wasn’t even ANNOUNCED. It’s been 824 days since the last official update from Naughty Dog, when it was revealed The Last of Us Part II would not contain multiplayer. Reading between the lines that day, you could correctly estimate that multiplayer project had grown into a standalone title (which it has), although when and what form it would surface was yet to be determined. It’s been over two years since that day… with no update nor announcement in sight. How did this happen? Join me as we look to shed some light on these questions today.
