Recommended Talent Liberation Unit Top 3. In this video, we introduce the Top 3 Talent Liberation Units among all Talent units implemented up to Ver. 15.0, which are especially good to liberate. The “Talent” system to enhance units in The Battle Cats was introduced 7 years ago with the Ver. 8.0 update in November 2018. Now we have Ultra Talent, and many other talents have been implemented in the past 7 years, including Ultra Talent. In addition to Talent, a 4th form has also been implemented, which is further ahead of the 3rd form, and it is difficult to decide which unit to enhance. I posted a video of the Lv.60 recommended unit last year, and I will post about the changes this year in a separate post. This time, focusing only on (super) Talent, I would like to select the Top 3 Talent units that I have been planning to make at some point for a long time and was happy to release. The reason for this timing is that thanks to the implementation of the Talent unit this year, I have already decided on the 3 units that I think have the highest priority. There are honestly a lot of good Talent units out there, but in this video, we have narrowed it down to three particularly good ones. So, let’s take a look at those 3 units.
The first one, or rather, the No. 1 Talent of all units is Talent of Awakened Bahamut Cat. By the way, there are 179 units that have been implemented with Talent up to Ver. 15.0.
If you want to release all talents of all units, you will use a large amount of NP (147,885NP). In the age of 179 units & about 148,000 NP worth of Talents implemented.
Converting to 50 NP uber alone requires about 3,000 units. From such a large number of 179 units, Bahamut is the No.1 unit that you should go to liberate as soon as it is ready to be liberated. Bahamut has three Talents in its lineup.
The first one is “Explosion Attack”. The second is speed up.
By setting it to Lv.10, speed is increased by 10 (175NP). The third and final one is the slow debuff immunity (100 NP).
Normally, you get 5 talents, but Bahamut has been balanced to 3. The stats for the release of all the talents for Bahamut are as follows. The reason why I have chosen Explosion Bahamut as No. 1 this time is because, as I said, Explosion is too strong.
I explained at the beginning of this article that the Talent of that unit was implemented this year, which means Bahamut. The bare HP and ATK power didn’t increase, but now that we got Explosion, we can do 110,000, 77,000, 44,000, etc. additional damage to all enemies. When you hit them directly, you can do 231,000 damage, which is basically double the ATK power of the previous version.
Also, since the total duration of EXPLOSION is 1.5 seconds, the gap after the attack is reduced. The explosion extends the range of the attack, allowing it to hit a much wider variety of enemies than before.
The ATK power has been increased, which is a good thing as it extends the attack range and increases the realistic defensive stats. Unlike wave and surge, explosion has not yet been countermeasured at all, so there is no need to worry (for the time being) about being hit back like Counter-Surge. I mainly use explosion, but I also appreciate that the speed has been increased for everyday use.
It’s nice to be able to attack the enemy quickly when rushing strat around, etc. I don’t recommend it for everyone, but it’s revolutionary that the speed has been increased to 70 when attacking clip cheese. I’m going to release it when I need it (since I can’t return it after releasing it), but I also got slow immunity, so I don’t float in the air anymore when I’m slowed down. So, I got “Explosion” even though Talent is reduced to 3, so it is strong enough to fight in both rounds and in normal strategy, and it has specs to fight in high difficulty stage. It is so broken that there will never be another Talent that surpasses it. Of course, it is great that Bahamut got “Explosion” in Talent, but it would not be like this if everyone got “Explosion” (well, I think most of them would be much stronger). The recommended order of Talent release for Bahamut is [explosion >speed >slow immunity].
Anyway, explosion is the highest priority. 235NP is required. The only drawback? The only drawback is that you have to clear the Journey to Talent stage.
It is not like normal units where you only need NP. If you fulfill this condition, you can use all of your 235NP to Bahamut for now.
I would like to release speed Talent as well (175NP) if I have enough left over. The second unit I am happy to release is Balrog from uber. Balrog has 5 Talents in its lineup.
The first one is the most important one, which gives you the “strengthen ability” by decreasing HP (235NP). The second is wave damage resist.
At Lv.10, it reduces the damage received from waves by 50% (175NP). The third is production cost reduction.
At lv.10, the production cost is reduced by 750 yen (175NP). The fourth and fifth are the usual basic status increases.
HP or ATK power is increased by 1.2 times at lv.10 (175NP each). So that’s all about Balrog’s stats for all Talent releases. Balrog is probably the most representative unit of Talent release.
In fact, some of the official videos seem to represent Balrog when it comes to Talent (10th anniversary movie). I will explain Balrog’s strength again, but it all started when it was given the ability to triple its ATK power with a decrease in HP. The unit, which had been originally known for its super high DPS instead of single attack, now has a Talent that allows it to increase ATK power by 3 times. The unit’s ATK power has been increased by 3.6 times when combined with the basic ATK power increase.
At lv.50, one shot deals 365,000 damage, and at lv.60, one shot deals 432,000 damage with an attack frequency of 2.27 seconds. Anyway, if the attack hits, it will do a lot of damage, so it can work against many strong opponents.
Thanks to its fast cool down time of 28 seconds, the next Balrog can be produced as soon as you wait a little. I used to adjust HP and so on, but now the enemy is getting even stronger, so I want to raise HP, endure and STRENGTHEN attack. I would like to increase my HP to withstand and strengthenthen attack. If you can get it, you may want to strengthen it up to the 3rd form and use NP to further strengthen it. The order of Talent release is: strengthen ≥ ATK power up >> HP up >> cost down >> wave resist.
The two types of ATK power up are the first talents to be released as a set. Since it is uber, it requires a lot of NP. 760NP is needed to release all except wave resist.
Before Bahamut was released, Talent would have been the number one Talent in the world. The third unit that I am glad to have released is Can Can Cat from super rare. There are five Talents in the Can Can Cat lineup.
The first one is the most eye-catching one, which gives you the extra money ability when you destroy it (75NP). Second, new support for aliens.
SLOW DEBUFF can now be activated against aliens (75NP). Third, speed is increased.
By setting it to lv.10, speed will be increased by 10 (125NP). The fourth and fifth are the usual basic status increases.
HP or ATK power is increased by 1.2 times at lv.10 (125NP each). The above is for such Can Can Cat’s Talent all-released stats.
(I am using Lv.120). Can Can Cat’s strength to be in this Top 3 is that its money-making stats are too good.
The extra money ability and speed up when destroying the enemy are revolutionary Talent. Can Can Cat has high ATK power instead of single attack.
It is often called the super rare version of mini Balrog. Can Can Cat has an extra money ability to take advantage of its high ATK power.
It also has a speed of +10, which is almost the same as Manic Eraser’s speed of 21. It is a very useful unit, especially for making money in the beginning, because it is very fast, has a high ATK power, can one-shot, and can often be used to finish off a target. When Doge Dark or Poodle comes out at the beginning, it is like Can Can Cat’s bait.
By the way, the status will be like this when the level counter-stop is made. It is a bit extreme to go to counter-stop, but when Can Can Cat comes out of gacha, I choose + level instead of NP. Some may think that Can Can Cat is a bit overshadowed by the too good money-making stats, but Can Can Cat can also provide slow debuff against red enemies and aliens. With crystals completed, there is a 60% chance of a 4.8 second debuff, which is a very strong debuff when activated.
It is especially effective against rhinos and wild boars. With the extra money ability and faster speed, this unit can be used frequently in rush strat and can be included in the Versatile Lineup to greatly improve comfort. Therefore, Talent is in my No.3 satisfaction list.
Also, it is good that the NP requirement is reduced because it is super rare. The order of Talent release is: extra money ≧ speed up >> ATK power up >> HP up >> anti-alien.
Extra money and speed up are the first talents to be released as a set. The set of extra money and speed up would be 200NP.
HP &ATK power up should also be done, but can be done later if you are dealing with aliens. So, of the 179 Talent implementation units so far, the Top 3 that are particularly satisfying are Bahamut, Balrog, and Can Can Cat. The fact that Bahamut got the Talent explosion, in particular, is the most bountiful harvest of the year.
It was a rude to worry that it might be a poor Talent, but it was a great enhancement. This time, I focused on the 3 units that were particularly good, so of course there are many more, including Jiangshi, Cameraman, Ramen, Cyborg Cat, Sanada Yukimura, Riceball, Dark Lazer, and many more. I can honestly say that there are a lot of Talent units that I would like to release.
I have been using it less and less recently, but Catasaurus’s +5%critical is very cost effective. That’s all.
