This year’s selected units are Li’l Valkyrie Dark, and the units shown in the banner. As I mentioned half a year ago, Staal was implemented in this year’s anniversary of the international version.
Staal has finally been implemented in Japan for this year’s anniversary event. The name is “Agent Staal”.
It is a unit of the NEO Best of the Best version of Trixi, which also wields a sword, Bun Bun. The second form is “Edgemaster Staal”. In the 2nd form, he takes off his clothes and reveals his muscular upper body.
He is a good looking guy, “Unit”. However, according to the illustrated book of this unit cat, he seems to be a very bad guy who betrayed his former comrade Trixi for the sake of wealth and power, and put him in a coma for 10 years. Staal is such a Staal, but it is characterized by the fact that it attacks with a straight face and crunching its legs.
The movement is neta unit. The above is all about stats.
The 2nd form is a complete upper rank of the 1st form. The new unit Staal, as mentioned several times in previous videos, is a unit for metal, zombies, and aku. First of all, the basic status is 119,000 HP at Lv.30.
ATK power is 5,100, one shot 1,700 damage, 3 multi-hit. When it reaches Lv.50, it changes to the above status.
HP 189,000, ATK power 8,100, one shot 2,700 damage x 3multi-hit. Like Trixi, Staal has a tremendous attack rotation.
The attack frequency is 0.57 seconds, during which time it delivers 3 multi-hit attacks. ATK power is 8,100, which is quite low, but the DPS is 14,000 due to the high attack frequency. As for the ability, it is strong against metal, zombies, and aku.
It does 1.5x damage & 0.5x damage, and 1.8x & 0.4x against the attribute of crystals completed. For metal and zombies, the crystal effect is used, so the real HP is 473,000 and the DPS is about 26,000.
Against aku, there is no crystal effect, so the real HP is 378,000 and the DPS is about 21,000. And next, it has slow debuff against those 3 attributes.
The effect is 0.67 seconds at 50% probability and 0.8 seconds if crystals are completed. Trixi had freeze debuff, so slow debuff is not as good as freeze debuff, but the effect time is doubled from 0.33 seconds to 0.67 seconds. Trixi was a unit that freezes the opponent while hitting each other, while Staal is a unit that keeps the opponent away from the slow debuff and keeps attacking. The sensing range is 320, which is a little longer than Trixi’s range of 280. Staal also has a Lv.3 mini-wave, a capability that Trixi did not have. There is a 30% chance that the Lv.3mini-wave will be triggered by all 3 multi-hit attacks.
Slow debuff also has the same chance to occur with all attacks. With this much sword wielding, as Trixi did, the opponent will be in slow hell.
The probability of never getting debuffed in all 3multi-hit is 12.5%. The mini-wave has a probability of 30%, so the probability that even one of the 3multi-hit sets will be triggered is about 66%.
The 3multi-hit is also performed with an attack frequency of 0.57 seconds, so the mini-wave usually occurs many times. By getting mini-wave, the attack can reach about range 730 with mini-wave.
The mini-wave also has a debuff function, so you can debuff enemies in the back. Before the enemy enters the range of Staal, you can delay them with slow mini-wave.
Once inside the range, you can slow-scrap with a normal attack. Staal has surge immunity because it corresponds to aku, one of the three attributes.
Staal also has freeze immunity. It is good for anti-aku unit to have surge immunity.
And since it has strong, its HP ATK power status is also enhanced. And let’s not forget about this. We have critical for metal, zombie killer for zombies, and shield piercing for aku. The three attributes, metal, zombie, and aku, are all gimmicky, and each of them has its own set of three items: critical, zombie killer, and shield piercing. Baki Hanma is the only one who has these three sets.
Ultra Talent Hayabusa also has this set in the 1st and 3rd forms. Unlike Baki Hanma, she not only has the 3-Point Set, but also has strong &slow debuff and specializes in 3 attributes (surge immunity). Especially against aku, it has shield piercing, surge immunity, buffing ability (strong), and debuff.
It is a rare stats that has all four of these features. Only Ultra Talent Hayabusa has this set.
Ultra Talent Hayabusa also supports zombies, but his stats are much more dangerous. Staal is a good choice for those who want to make a difference with its anti-metal stats and training cost.
However, this is a NEO Best of the Best exclusive unit, so there is a high hurdle to overcome to get it. Staal’s best feature is its slow debuffing and its ability to keep the enemy at bay. The zombie killer has no concept of probability, so if you kill it, it will trigger 100% of the time, but the critical one has a 3% probability, and the shield piercing has a 5% probability. The critical one has a 3% chance, and the shield piercing has a 5% chance. The low chance is compensated for by the high attack turnover.
The critical, zombie killer, and shield piercing can be triggered by all 3 multi-hit attacks. For 3% critical, it takes a little over 6 seconds for 33 attacks.
For the 5%shield piercing, it takes less than 4 seconds for 20 attacks. Even with a probability of only 3% or 5%, with this attack rotation, we can expect at least one attack to be triggered in about 5 seconds. With one set of 3multi-hit, there is an expected 15% chance that shield piercing will be triggered, so of course it depends on luck, but it will break sooner or later. When fighting aku with aku shield, it is important to be able to shield piercing as soon as possible.
If you don’t shield piercing, you can’t get slow debuff. On the other hand, against aku without aku shield, you will be debuffed from the beginning, which is very strong.
You can also be strong against aku penguins, devil wives, and Aku Gory as mentioned above. Miz Devil and Aku Doge are protected by aku shield, so it is better to protect them with wall players such as corn. However, since it is strong and has 380,000 HP at Lv.50, it is able to withstand some damage. Let’s kill Death Angel Z-Onel with a zombie killer. Death Angel Z-Onel is defeated. The most common and troublesome enemy with aku shield is Fallen Bear, but since it has range 320, it is usually defeated by Fallen Bear with range 345. It is possible to withstand several attacks by strong, so you want to defeat it by quickly piercing its shield while it is still strong. If there is some enemy in front of the Fallen Bear, shield piercing from outside the range by mini-wave is also possible.
However, the probability is 1.5%, which is lower than critical. Staal has now been implemented in the Japanese version.
It is specialized for metal, zombie, and aku, and has 3 sets of critical & zombie killer &shield piercing. Staal is a good unit when you want to deal with 3 troublesome attributes in one unit.
It also has surge immunity. It is not relic like Trixi, so be careful of curse debuff.
If it gets cursed, strong and slow debuff will disappear, so it will be weakened a lot. That’s all.
