本日gamescomを運営するKoelnmesseが、今年の出展タイトルから優れた作品を選出する“gamescom award 2025”の部門別受賞作品をアナウンスし、期待作「BIOHAZARD requiem」（Resident Evil requiem）がベスビジュアルとオーディオ、Most Epic、ベストPlayStationゲームを含む4部門を制し、見事最多受賞を果たしたことが明らかになりました。
また、病に侵された善き魔女を救う旅に出るネズミの冒険を描く3Dアドベンチャー「Hela」がMost EntertainingとMost Wholesomeの2部門を受賞したほか、待望の発売が9月4日に決定した傑作メトロイドヴァニアの続編「Hollow Knight: Silksong」や8月8日にローンチを果たし高い評価を獲得した本屋経営ゲーム「Tiny Bookshop」、人気Co-opサバイバル続編「Grounded 2」、“ANNO”シリーズ最新作「アノ 117: パックスロマーナ」、「マリオカート ワールド」、「ドンキーコング バナンザ」、恋愛シミュレーションゲーム「Love and Deepspace」といった作品が受賞を果たしています。
