Not that it really matters. Its just mind blowing the Hamilton was almost a second slower in sector 1 and .4 seconds slower than Charles in sector 2. Its all most all high speed.

How many times did Hamilton do the same thing in the 1st turn that Max did with no penalty. Lewis isn't the only one either. Oscar went straight to the curb. Max does the same thing. When defending. On any other lap that should be a penalty. On the first lap regardless of who is racing it's a safety issue to brake and get rear-ended. Normally the Stewart's give a driver the option to give the spot back or take the penalty. I just want consistency in the calls.

Ok, here is food for thought, did Oscar gift Max pole deliberately (you can see he backs off in his last Q3 lap), so he could take that first corner in exactly the way he did? On some tracks starting from 2nd is not a disadvantage.
FIA too harsh again on Max who did a fabulous job …love his reaction & comments with David Coulthard at the end of the race interview…

At 0:46 Oscar didnt leave max any space. Max ended up ahead of Oscar in the corner before being puished off. Anyone else think that the 5 second penalty was too harsh?
